This is excellent and should have stayed in the first palce.
so what if botts and scammers are in the community, its your own fault for being scammed and people will always find a way to cheat games. not only this game but everygame in general. its upto Jagex to take the right precaution in dealing with this whether they back track money and scammed items and return them to people or banned players for breaking the Code of conduct. this will always be in MMORPGS aslong as game generated money has value 2 people.
other mmorpgs do not controll trade and the community and remain successful and its time runescape changed back to that aswell. ive played this game since 2005 and have stopped for 2 years since the update because its ridiculous controlling value of items to players and have taken the biggest reason why a majority of people played "old Runescape" to PK people for what they actually had and to stake and trade freely.
-Vote Yes- what have you got 2 lose, if this ends up being a bad idea for somereason runecape im sure wouldnt hesitate to change things around again. And for new players who disagree you havnt even tried it yet, many people have tried both and you will see what the majority of people prefer in the voting anyways :)

I would like to think that there would be a way to be able to runecraft without being killed doing it. That is the only area of wildy that I would every want to go into. If you allow player killing at every single world, then that would be a real shame. "
I just want to point out, the abyss was placed there pre-2007 wildy changes for a reason, you use the abyss to craft at your own risk of death and losses, otherwise use a safer route.
I also want to agree with the guy top of page 661 (forgot the name) about a community of people easily getting scammed, i admit.. i was one of those victims where i lost 17m because someone was obviously having a wildy scam and dropping 10k to make a huge coin pile. i was annoyed, but i was arrogant and thought i could quickly grab the coins and run. I don't really consider it such a bad thing, because it's basically saying you're at fault if someone just happens to jump infront of your car when you're driving and they hurt themself, sure you're the one in the car moving, but the "victim" should have some common sense and realise the risks... We already have that horrid Wilderness ruined wall to deter people if they want to intentionall jump over then it's fair game in my opinion, i'm a fan of the saying "remove all the warning signs and let the idiots sort themselves out"
I also remember seeing someone use the pvp worlds not being full currently as an example it's not popular.. it was more populer being being turned into that, so the point is moot. But i still think atleast a few worlds could be kept with pvp only etc.. best of both worlds.

OH EM GEE DONT BRING WILD CAZ I CANT DO MY CLUE SCROLL!
Well every game needs a thrill. You can't just easily walk in level 30 wild and shove some dirt up into your pockets then go continue on your clue scroll somewhere else. Therefore, as your doing your clue scroll, watch out for Touch my Pepe, because i will find you and kill you. Play smarter, not harder.

I personally would prefer having the Free Trade and Wildy back the way it used to be,back in the Good Times.I have been waiting for this oppurtunity for years, remembering the good ol' times with the blood-pumping, danger-filled,but also money making, Wilderness. And I also could not forget the Free Trade, having the freedom to barter your items as you please. In conclusion, I will state that I certainly support the new petition, and the enjoyment and many memories it holds.

and people complaining about runecrafting people before the update did it without complaining if they got killed they'd come back and do it again. and prices of nature runes were higher so if the wild comes back your reward will be greater

OMFG, "Remove the wildy sign and have the idiots sort them selves out." I think that's the bes* quote i have ever seen in my life. Imagine how rich i would BE. The age limit for this game should be 3+ or something if jagex needs to place Warning signs all over the place.

heheh Speaking of Summaries regarding the votes lets do It a lil bit more detailed , No offense intended L r.
now as per the current status of forum and votes in the referendum we see a striking clash .. over 600 pages I can clearly say that for every page there are at least 2-3 non supporters, whereas in the referendum we see over 500k+ votes a clear winner has been decided.
This leads me to a few conclusions :
-the non supporters keep posting again and again too much instead of playing the game..
-there are many people here who have already hatched plans to bot and RWT and are fiercly fighting for the old runescape(Don't worry you will be banned soon ) :) -and people who have no clue about what they are here for and what runescape is.
so from this I'd say :
In forums : -40% non supporters (tbh only around 25% as most keep reposting)
-30% people with malicious intent ,hidden agendas
-30% people with clear support because they really want it back from a pure heart :)
In referendum:
-30% botters,farmers and RWT
-40% people who only want free trade back
-20% people who want pvp back.
-8% people who hate life and prefer no-lifing A.k.a non supporters :) (no offense intended to the no-lifers)
-2% people who don't care a damn ...and are mostly the ones who will be scammed and killed the most post update.
so here's my break up :)
Before you buy/sell a rare, read this : Discontinued Items for Dummies

Also another advantage with limit being removed, when new items are released, people can sell them for a high price again despite being junk (Granite helm makes the best example, sold for up to 40m in the first few days, complete junk and then went to 500k) Some people can argue that it's unfair for such price manipulation.. But that's how the real worlds works too, people like to pay for exclusiveness, having the first item release etc. people normally know an items worth, but the still want the exclusiveness of it.
And it stops the shenanigans with prices in GE... When barrows first came out, it was worth alot, eventually the cheapest set would have been 4 mil. then when GE is out and trade's limited they jet back up to 8m-12m
Aswell as actually helping people with trading for rares now, i always hated the fact people junk traded, Jagex really should have stopped that from happening, it ruins the prices if items being used as "junk" aswell as made it impossible to buy something fairly if it was worth more on street, So i gladly welcome back pre-2007 RS, atleast then i enjoyed playing
