I started playing again because of the possible return of free trade and wilderness. I am paying for 2 accounts, and a couple of my friends are playing again.
All you can do at this time in this game is hoard money and buy a godsword, or partyhat whatever, then "show off". That's it. In World of Warcraft, I had money, and I was very good at the game. However guess what happened after the expansion? I sat around in the main city..making money. For what? I didn't need anything.
Pking offers fun, if you enjoy it as I did. All from pkers at the dragons to clans in full Ahrim. Action, suspense, the need to think about where you are going. If you don't like it, then at least you can enjoy the free trade.
You can merchant easily with free trade. You can get thing's cheaper, and more often, with free trade. It might be fun at level 70 to enjoy having your 10m or whatever, but when your a bit higher I feel you will start to see where I am coming from.

Awesome..very temping to go back to playing rs then
easy money making on main, and using that money to pk on pures = win
Just wondering when they are bringing it back..votes end at middle of januar but what date will it actually be back in the game?

I cant wait for the new free trade! Though im not so happy about the wilderness becasue of the Fist of Guthix in there and im worried if i try to go there i will get killed so could u consider moving the fist of guthix possibly? ;)

My oppinion is plain and simple , Most of the world in runescape are pkers.. I am not one of them.. I feel that by bringing back the old wilderness your opening a door for those who never wanted it to leave in the first place...
Yet your leaving out those who never liked to pk at all.
As for free trade, I do miss giving my friends a nice lumpsome of my bank but on the other hand I dont miss the fact that I could be scammed if you brought the free trade back..
I feel the only reason your bringing back the wilderness and free trade is lack of new content idea's, so instead of thinking of a new idea you bring back a much "loved" wilderness ( personally hate the wild and pking) that of course will bring back a majority of lost members when you took it out. As for free trade again I feel that all those who used to scam will be back at it wrongfully taking advantage of those around them to benefit temselves in this game.
All I can say in my oppinion on this is, If you do bring this back maybe release content for those who dont pk and maybe a way to reduce scamming... Or since the Grand Exchange will still be open if you take off the caps to allow free trade then keep a mid price range there so that people still know what an item is worth but allow them to add more or take away as much gp as they want..
I feel that as a veteran player myself that even tho bringing it back looks good to pkers and scammers that your not hearing the voices of those who dont like to step foot in the wild or have the people fluctuate prices, all I ask is that you keep an open mind and try extremely hard to reduce the scamming.
I honestly feel that the free trade is a bad idea because I can see every item in rs sky rocketing just because of merchers or you'll have those who have an item but overprice it because of greed within the game...
Its sad ... but I'll have to live with it... Dang it was hard making money now cant wait to see what its gunna be like when its updated....
