a trick i learned is that if you use the Adrougne cape and teleport to the Monastery and have the Medal from the Branches of Darkmeyer quest you can restore prayer easily for free reducing cost from prayer potions
BUT BE CAREFUL! make sure you keep an eye on your charges or you may end up having a long walk back be sure to teleport to Burgh De Rott and recharge it before you teleport to far away!

My first tip is extremly important.
ALWAYS Begin with Dharok.
Because this brother will hit higher as his life points goes down.
And you don't wanna run out of prayer and get hit with his special on very low life points.
For many people that would mean a ONE HIT KILL.
If you get him in the tunnels drink prayer restore potions when you encounter him and keep a very close eye it.
My second tip is more of a handy 1.
Try to do the quest called "The Branches of Darkmeyer"
You don't need to finish the qeust just getting to the part when you have to fight Vanstrom.
Because by that time you will have the full version of the "Drakan's medallion".
This jewel has several teleport options INCLUDING the entrance of Barrows. (tele option 1)
It has 10 charges and can be recharged for free in Burgh de Rott. (tele option 2)

I also have tip number 3 but that one is everything you do in Runescape.

Overall
1. IF YOU HAVE DONE BRANCHES OF DARKMEYER
Use the Medallion
2. IF YOU HAVE DONE ROTM AND KILLED PEST QUEEN
On Akrissae use korasi's sword u have a magic and a melee attack
3. If you have the medallion to save on prayer pots tele to darkmeyer inbetween fights
4. Dont Bring a Spade there are the spades there now u can save a inventory space for food
5. I am a very poor person an easy way to do this is to bring 1 inv of monks last time i did that 1 had 8 to spare
6. for gear i reccommend something that does NOT degrade because you dont want ur armour going while fighting dharok
I use
Helm of netzinot (or whatever it is)
Glory Ammy
Knockout Aura
Obsidian cape
D Chain (TY DUST DEVILS Sept 12 2011 (55th kill))
D pl8legs
Abyssal whip for all brothers but akrisae (korsais sword for akrisae)
D defender
For boots i have no preference
Ring of wealth
and Barrows gloves
My inventory has
Drakans Medallion x1
Monkfish x27
This setup has been successful many times. or at least now that i dont need a spade
Why i dont use prayer pots
LOOK AT THE PRICE you can have a teleport to a prayer alter save the $$$
Why i dont use a GS
In my experience i have found a whip to hit more often but its your call
If you get a Barrows item because of this setup... shuddup and do it again
and dont brag ( I havent got 1 yet)
probobly because im not on alot ( i play WoW too)

1. Bring polypore staff to wreck the melee brothers, if you can't afford it then bring the best magical damage equipment you can bring.
2. Bring at least 12 prayer pots, 2 super strength, 2 super attack, and (Optional) 2 super def potions depending on your level, as well as 6-10 sharks or as many rocktails that you can bring.
If you do this with your best defence armor and best strength bonus you will be able to do more than 3 rounds of barrows, I did 4 rounds so far and only with 77 attack, 76 strength, 76 defence, 85 magic, 51 prayer, and 78 constitution. I do not use ranged.

Bring the three attack styles (Magic, Melee and Range) because the brothers use the 3 styles. Use Magic for the Melee brothers (Dharok, Guthan, Torag and Verac), Use Melee for the Range brother (Karil) and use Range for the Mage brother (Ahrim). Bring the correct equipment for each attack style!
Also, keep an eye on your prayer, and make sure Protect from Melee is ALWAYS active when fighting Dharok.

1.use best gear
2.i recommend you kill in order karil,verac,torag,guthans,dharock,ahrim p.s. thats just my opinion
3.inv shark or better food 4 prayer pots and any boosts you may use
Range
1.best gear
2.personally i do veracs, ahrim , dharock, guthans, karil, torags but u may do any way thats best for you
3.same as melee for inv
Mage
1.best gear
2.verac,guthans,torags,dharoks,ahrim, karil
3.same as melee for inv
Hybrid
1.best gear and if your att range and mage are at 70 use a salamander since
2.kill in order of worst to best depending on your skill levels
3.same as melee for inv

Here's a few quick tips;
1.) If you can do the Branches of Darkmeyer quest, the Drakan's Medallion can teleport you straight to barrows and then to a bank without using a charge due to close proximity.
2.) Instead of finding the rope after looting a chest, just simply teleport back to Barrows with the Drakan's Medallion to save time and effort.
3.) If you want, bring only a prayer renewal and food, you can then teleport to your house and recharge your prayer after each chest, then back to Barrows with Drakan's Medallion to help save prayer pots and increase your efficiency.
4.) If you do not have a Drakan's Medallion and have done the Deesert Treasure quest and have the required construction level, you are able to put a Kharyll portal in your house as well as an altar to recharge your prayer in between runs. Using the Kharyll portal is the fastest way to return to Barrows without Drakan's Medallion, and will allow you enough time to return to your grave if something does go wrong.
5.) Use either Korasi, Dragon Claws, Armadyl Godsword, or Enhanced Excalibur, any other special weapon is a waste of time and inventory space in my opinion.
6.) DO NOT try and tank the brothers without prayer unless you are prepared to be dealt potential high amounts of damage. The only people who should not use protection prayers are maxed players with access to Torva and Soul Split as well as Overloads.
7.) One of the common misconceptions about Verac is that using Protect/Deflect melee is useless since he will always hit through prayer, this is false, he has a CHANCE to hit through prayer, so it is still worth it to use a protection prayer.
8.) DO NOT let your life points go below ~450 on Verac, even with protect/deflect from melee activated, he can combo you out and you will have a high chance of dying.
