Tip1: Quest "The Branches of Darkmeyer" can reduce the time of resupplying. Simply use Drakan's medallion for unlimited teleports from the barrows to the bank and back!
Tip2: Don't give up, if you haven't got any loot from the chest- you'll have more luck next time!
Your friendly neighborhood Dor Sefrit. :)

Wear best mage gear with polypore staff. Spawn any brother and cast ice burst/barrage once then safespot them. Finish them off with polypore staff and shouldn't use any prayer or food for a whole trip. It's actually too easy shouldn't listen to me.

I wear ahrims, sara cape, mystic boots, zammy book, polypore staff, fury.
I deal with the melee brothers by first freezing them with ice barriage, than i attack normally with the polypore staff. If I need any help i either use soul split or i blood barriage which allows me to not use any food.
I melee and pray against Ahrim and Karil.

tip #1: bring excaliber or the enhanced excaliber for regular healing, it can really make a difference when u need that extra boost.
tip#2: although relatively new, this is still a great tip for current barrow runs. 'Bring a ring of wealth'. it has the possiblity to give potions, sharks, and other valuable goodies. the ring of wealth when charged also provides a useful teleport straight to the grand exchange to sell your grave robbing rewards.

happy barrowing all!!!!

Always bring a spade; I cannot count the many times I have forgotten. Even if you have one on your toolbelt.
Magic dart and salamanders are effecive, cheap ways of disposing of a majority of the brothers, bring a decent melee or ranged weapon for ahrim.
Know what mound has what brother! This is very important because if you want to try and take out a weak thorag but instead get obliverated by Dharok.
Always pray if you're up close. As a newbie I once tried to take out Thorag without prayer. He then hit high on me once and found myself at lumbridge the next second.
If you're high level and experienced then always keep your HP high, ALWAYS pray on Dharok as he can hit over 990 at low health.
More l00t is more w00t, so do Rotm in your spare time to unlock Akrasiea and increase your chances of getting a barrows item.
You can l00t the chest at any time, but you will get more l00t if you kill more barrows brothers.
Don't bother getting your kill count very high, the brothers give a majaority of the l00t.
Don't be afraid of trying something new! Just don't be suprised when you wake up at lumbridge.
If you know an astral mage, have him share his potions with you instead of ingesting them. Instead of 2 prayer potions on 2 players you can share 1 potion on 2 players! Just make sure nobody else is nearby because it will share with EVERYBODY nearby.
That same astral mage could veng you and heal you if he's selfless! :D
If said astral mage is going to be assisting you, assume their lack of combat magic. I'm sure less then 0.1% of players have the patience for Livid Farm or repeated spellbookswaps.
Borrowed power will allow you to use slayer dart while on the lunar spellbook. It costs 3 more astral runes per cast, you cannot wear an amulet and you must cast manually. You wont have to use spellbook swap every cast though.

This is what i do when i go to Barrow's, this method works for me and I normally get 4 Chest runs using this method.
Levels recommended: 43 Prayer (Needed!)
50 Magic (for Slayer dart)
55 Slayer (for Slayer dart)
60 Attack (for Dragon Weapons)
45+ Strength
61 Ranged (For Rune crossbow and Ava's Bag)
60 Defence (for dragon Armour otherwise not needed)
Quest Recommended: Lost City (for Dragon weapons)
In Aid of the Myreque (Quick Banking)
Priest in Peril (for Access)
Use the slayer dart spell on Dharok's, Guthan's, Torag's and Verac's.
Use A Dragon dagger on Karil's (with a second weapon for finishing)
Use the Dragon dagger on Ahrim's too, or range him.
Wield: Slayer helm/initate
Glory/Fury/Magic amulet
Mystic Robe Top with D'hide body for Ahrim's
Mystic Robe Bottom with D'hide legs for Ahrim's/ Dragon legs (useful against Verac's)
Dragon boots
Prayer book/Elemental shield/Dragonfire shield
Ring of Wealth
Dragon Dagger/Dragon Scimitar/Chaotic weapon/ Slayer Staff
Skill cape/Ava's Accumulator.
Arrows/bolts (if ranging Ahrim's)
Inventory: Have 12-15 prayer potions
3 sharks
A super set(Super attack/Strength)/Combat potions)
A teleport away/Energy potions.
Black D'hide Body and Legs when not using.
Magic bow/ Rune crossbow/ Chaotic crossbow (If ranging Ahrim's)
Dragon legs (useful against Verac's)
Mind and Death Runes (a high amount of 500-3000 casts is recommended)
Good luck with the Drops when using this method, it's almost always a profitable run

1.Magic is all ways the way to hit the brothers, something like guthix claws or the new polpypore staff is wonder full against them.
2.Use blood blitz or other blood spells from the ancient spell book to help heal you on those barrows runs so far from a bank.

Well here are my tips :) 1)Recommended stats
It is recommended that before attempting the Barrows, players should have a Combat level of at least 70, level 43 Prayer (for using the protection prayers), level 58+ Magic (for Ice spells - completion of Desert Treasure is required), level 55 Slayer (for using the Magic Dart spell with 50 Magic), level 60+ Constitution, and level 65 Ranged. (85 range if using range for all the brothers - diamond bolts recommended). Players are also advised to turn their "Accept Aid" option off before fighting the brothers, as other players may attempt to use Tele-other spells in order to distract you. To lessen their chances of dying, players should wear a Ring of Life when fighting the brothers. Ring of life will not always activate, as most of the brothers have a higher max hit than 10% of your life points. Also note that wearing a ring of wealth will increase your chance of getting more valuable loot from the chest but for lower levels should stick to ring of life. Unsure players should bring a one click teleport. Killing all of the brothers increases chance of receiving a barrows item. Getting a high kill count (not including the brothers) does not affect the chance of you getting better items from the chest.
2)Things to bring
The Barrows is an excellent example of the delicate balance of the combat triangle between the three combat classes, as it is best to use Magic against the melee brothers, Dharok the Wretched, Verac the Defiled, Torag the Corrupted, and Guthan the Infested, Ranged against Ahrim the Blighted, and Melee against Karil the Tainted.
Prayer potions (About 1-5, or more if you plan on killing the brothers several times per trip)
Super restore (About 3-5)
Lots of food is always recommended also a beast of burden like a spirit terror bird)
Melee approach can be the cheapest method because it does not require any prayer potions. However, this should be done on players that have high melee stats (80+).

When becoming a more efficient barrows player consider these things:
1. Find a fast route to and from barrows - Quests such as Desert Treasure (house Kharyll portal), Myreque Quests/Temple Trekking rewards (shortcuts from Canifis to Barrows area), Branches of Darkmeyer (Drakan's Medallion) will help a lot with this.
2. Find a place to recharge prayer between each round! Combining an altar with your Kharyll portal can be an extremely quick way to recharge prayer points and get back to barrows. Another suggestion is the Ardounge cape's monastery teleport.
3. Kill as cheaply as possible.
* Boost defense as high as you can and try not praying against some of the brothers (Dharok and Karil are the deadliest, so try foregoing prayer on the other brothers first).
* Use a magical attack that is cheap such as the polypore staff, black salamander, slayer dart, or fire bolt with chaos gauntlets.
* Minimize the usage of food. Food costs add up quickly and using Excalibur, Enhanced Excalibur, or the Guthan's set effect will reduce or even negate the need for food.
4. Make sure you party it up! Efficiency is cool, but repetition will drain your mind and soul! Switching up tactics to keep things fresh is both fun and rewarding! Perhaps your new buddy's tactic will knock the socks of Dharok - what are you waiting for! Try it out!
One last tidbit: Karil is a ranger, but despite the awe inspiring boost to magical defense that his armor provides to players, the monster version is weak to magic! I use magical attacks for all but Ahrim.
