my tip to you is: salamanders.
yes salamanders, they attack with all the combat triangle and save more inv for your gear of potions and food.
also if you want better chances of reciving a good drop you should wear a ring of wealth and you shouldnt waste your time on the creatures inside the cript.

If you use protect prayers for the brothers you should be fine.
Dharok -> Protect Melee
Guthan -> Protect Melee
Torag -> Protect Melee
Verac -> Protect Melee (He still hits thorugh prayers sometimes, so get ready to eat/teleport if you get on low HealthPoints.)
Ahrim -> Protect Magic (He uses weakening spells, so mabe bring some Restore Potions.)
Karil -> Protect Ranged
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You should try to kill the Meleer's first, Verac > Dharok > Torag > GuthanThen the Ranger, KarilThen the Mager, AhrimBecause the Ahrim lowers your stats, you should try to kill everyone else first, and by the time you finish the tunnels, your stats should be back to normal.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------North east = Verac
North west = Dharok
South east = Guthan
South west = Torag
South = Karil
Middle = Ahrim
Remeber, the gate is at the north side, try not to get confused.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You should bring lots of Prayer Potions, a quick Teleport out.
Bring some food - A Basket Of Strawberries heals more then the common Shark - Shark or Monkfish are recomended.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GoodLuck with Barrows everyone

1Kill Ahrim last if your meleeing because he lowers your attack and strength stats
2Always pray range against Karil because he is very accurate even with good melee armor
3Dharok is the most dangerous if your not praying melee he can hit 500+ when his hp is lower so take him out first if he is tunnel make sure to have prayer potions before going in
4I don't recommend melee(except on Ahrim,Karil and Akrisae) unless you have 99,chaotic,Piety(Turmoil) extremes so use mage instead like slayer dart
5My special of choice is Korasi's sword

Just posted to help out now since I already submitted my two tips via email. So these are not my submissions, but helping the players that are reading this thread for tips. Do not want to be disqualified, but feel the need to help with some of the questions being posed.

To the forum mod that questioned the "missing door" tip. The tip was not well worded, but when you enter the crypts there is only one door that you can go through. The other 3 will automatically be blocked. From there you can get either of two different paths. Much of the time you can start moving either clockwise or counterclockwise around the 3x3 grid of rooms to try and find which of the 4 doors leading to the center is unblocked. Simple situation. The tip will not apply here.
In the event that you get an "outskirt" path as your first path (these are the long narrow corridors that are on the outsides of the grid). Then you can continue in that direction around the 3x3 grid, but you will "miss" one room. So you might find yourself moving around the grid to realize that the door that leads to the treasure room is the room that you skipped via the initial path.
So the best tip for this situation is to play with a larger screen size. So when you pass through the initial corridor, you can peek into the room that you are missing and right click the center door. From here you can check if it has the "examine" option or the "open" option. If it has the "open" option you can reverse back and enter that room, if not you can continue around the grid without fear that you will have to backtrack.

Also I noticed another tip that might be misleading. Prayer renewals are actually very very effective here. It of course depends on your level. But for higher levels it is fantastic. Since a normal prayer potion is often wasted because you lose prayer in larger "Bursts". If you have a high enough prayer bonus and high enough prayer level you can often use protect melee without any prayer drain whatsoever. So you can have permanent protect melee over the course of the 5 minutes. Only having to re-click your quick prayers every time the prayer reduction hits you.
WORD OF CAUTION: This can be dangerous for Dharok! So you always start with him first, with your initial prayer. So you can kill him without any worry. After that you can rely completely on renewals.
Another good tactic if you cannot sustain protect melee long enough is to flash prayer. You can use soul split and flash it the whole time without worry using renewals. This is recommended if you have beefy-er armour to tank their hits and can heal adequately with soul split!

-I'd suggest using Ancients if you can use Ice burst or up against the Melee Brothers. If you can time your safespots correctly, you'll save a good portion on prayer potions and food without any of the Melee Brothers laying a hand on you.
-You can bring runes for any Blood Spells instead of food if you can get enough hits on them, saving you room for either more armor, potions, or loot.
-Using a Vecna Skull may seem like a bit of a pricey item, but in the long run you will get quite the usage out of it's unlimited uses.

Bring proselyte armour, helm of netiznot or better. also the best weapon and amulet (ring) with you, oh and of course a staff of light or a slayer's staff and enough runes for slayer dart casts. now as for strategy, simply cast slayer dart on the brothers and use prayer to protect exept for ahrim and karil, as you can melee those two quite easly. Inventory: good food or none if experienced/ runes/ a weapon/ and a very few prayer pots. Order: 1st dharok 2d verac 3th torag 5th guthan 6th karil and the last one ahrim or dharok might surprise you. Note: you can bring a salamander in place of the slayer dart, however i recommend using slayer dart instead. :) Cheap fast and efficient guide, do as i do and i promise you wont get hit at all.
