Never be afraid to leave, you can always leave to restock and go back. Your kill count won't go back to zero, it will only reset if your loot the chest.

Okay, here's a guide to Barrows.
Gear:
1. Proselyte (Initiate if you don't have proselyte)
2. 4-6 Prayer Potion (4) (or Super Prayer Potions)
3. Black Salamander (Ammo: Harralander Tar) *Or the highest level salamander)
4. Whip/DDS (For Ahrims/Kharils)
5. (OPTIONAL): Strong armor for Guthans/Torags/Veracs
6. (OPTIONAL): Highest level dragonhide armor (For magic defence)
7. (OPTIONAL): Ice barrage runes to safespot.
Tactic:
1. Kill Dharok first. Since he is the strongest of the brothers, he requires prayer. (Protect From Melee). Use the Black Salamander and use the mage option to dispatch him quickly.
2. Right after that, go to Karil. Since Karil is accurate and can hit quite hard, you want to use your DDS spec and whip to dispatch him quickly. (Use Protect from Range)
3. After this, you are probably out of prayer. Go to Veracs and use the mage option on the Black Salamander to try to kill him as fast as possible, trying not to take that much damage.
4. Now you want to use 2 doses of prayer potion, and kill Ahrim. (Finish your spec bar, then whip him). *Make Sure you use protect from magic, and if possible, use Dragonhide. It will make the curse spells less likely to hit.*
5. From here on out, it is your choice. Kill Guthan first, or Torag. Personally, I like to kill Guthan next because his "Spec" can restore his health.
6. After you Kill Guthan, you should have found your tunnel, because Torag is all that is left. Once you get into your tunnel, just head straight for the chest, kill Torag, and loot. Don't teleport out if you can handle another run. ;)
** I personally can do 6-8 runs like this in one inventory, without the dragonhide, or war tortoise with prayer pots/food. **
*** To ice barrage safespot, you cast ice barrage, and walk to the space diagonal to the brother, then use your salamander for 4/5 hits. (You can use ice blitz/burst, but it is much less effective.) ***

Food is a must (lobsters and upwards)- would recommend 8-12
Prayer potions are other must have- around 8
LEAVE ROOM FOR LOOT!!!
For Ahrim and Karil good melee is suggested
The rest should Maged as it is the strongest option on them on them. Slayer dart is always a good option if you are lower in cash. If you have the money spare, Polypore staff is greatly recommended. It works wounders on them.
When you loot, be sure you are wearing the Ring of Wealth as it gives you a chance at better loot.
Good luck,

if you don't have a very high attack a black salamander has massive accuracy on the brothers and its a versatile weapon allowing you to use all 3 combat styles cheap ammunition and hits fairly high for low levels, at my level i've gotten 39 chests in one trip using it, stack your pray bonus bring a few sara brews super restores (3/1 ratio) i usually do 6 brews and 2 restores having guthans helps alot for the tunnels and use rest pray pots. my best with this setup is 39 chests in one trip, HAVE HAPPY BARROWS HUNTING!
If you want a full detailed guide to it join my fc in game.!

Gear: Weapons.
For melee brothers - 1. Polypore 2. Slayer Dart 3. Ancients (ancients third because of cost)
Ahrim/Karil - 1. Rapier 2. Cls 3. Whip 4. Dclaws (godswords not needed as they are slow. PRAYER)
Tunnel - Doors you can open are slightly different tint on lowest detail.
Learn the puzzles. Killcount is not necessary but is recommended. ROW ofc.
Armour - With Polypore or Dart Use the best defense armor you have. Or throw in a d'hide top for the stat draining ahrim. With ancients bring affordable mage gear and platelegs in inv.
Inv - Levels under 100 - monkfish Mainly. Levels 100-110 - lobsters 110-120 tuna or if doing multiple runs bring monkfish or lobsters. 130+ - What's food?
Prayer potions for levels. 43-60 prayer - 3 depends on cb level really.
60-70 prayer 1-2 will suffice but if you're high combat you don't even need ppots.
80+ NOT NECESSARY. (exception is doing large amounts of runs. as usually with 80+ prayer you have 90+defense where dh won't hit you but once, and he's the only one I suggest praying against.
ALWAYS BRING SUPER ATTK AND STR, def not needed.
Barrows brothers to pray on - Dharok ahrims karil also if you run out of prayer by ahrim, don't re-pot, it is not necessary
Order - Dh first to use prayer, shouldn't use but 300prayer points w/ polypore
Next Karil, use leftover prayer on karil and ahrim. Ahrim next as he drains melee stats but not mage, as you'll be maging the next 3 brothers.
Next verac as he might take up food and cause you to need to use prayer against other brothers. Toe-Rag and Guthan are very easy to handle. no prayer obviously if you're above 80defense.

FINAL TIP - Make a Kharryl Teleport in your house! Very helpful!!
(sorry for this being more of a guide.)

The need to do as many chests as possible during each trip ends with drakan's amulet. It is far cheaper and faster to use a teleport to your house after every chest, refresh prayer on your altar and exit to Canifis using your portal, than using prayer potions. In Canifis you can bank and tele back to barrows without using a charge of the amulet.
With this method you need only good magic gear, preferably ganodermic and polypore staff plus a melee Weapon for Akrisae. I take one prayer potion a few food items for safety.

Bring one prayer renewal potion and several prayer restores, along with a guthans set, a slayer staff (or preferably a staff of light) and slayer dart runes. 6-8 spaces of food. Super set, mystic robes, ring of wealth and a magic shortbow with rune arrows or a crystal bow.
Stand atop Dharok's mound and use 1 dose of prayer renewal. Slayer dart him to death with prot. from melee on the whole time.
Next destroy guthan. Use a dose of prayer restore if necessary.
Karil should always be third. Equip whip or dds and use super set. Have prot. from missiles on or he will take you down rather quickly. Spec him to death as quick as possible.
Next, torag. Slayer dart again. If prayer renewal starts to wear off, do not use another dose. Save it for the next trip. You should not have had to use food yet, and you probably will not have to use food on torag.
Slay verac. He will hit you. Inevitable.
Equip bow and visit ahrim. Should be a rather quick fight as he spends more time attacking melee stats than attacking health.
Go back to the tunnel and kill whichever brother you didn't fight in his tomb. If it is Dharok make sure you are praying. Equip Guthan's set before and after the fight to restore health on creatures in the tunnel. REMEMBER which side of the tunnel you came in on, as after you loot the chest it is wise to go out and make another run.) Acquire a kill count of 3-4, or higher as needed for healing.
Loot the chest.
Be annoyed with whatever loot you receive, unless it is karil's top.
Escape the tunnel, go back to stand upon Dharok's mound and use another dose of prayer renewal, as well as 2 doses of prayer restore. Go in and kill him and continue from there.
(Ideal for 110 cb, with 77 mage --- cannot use polypore ----)

If you have completed Branches of Darkmeyer and the hard set of the Ardougne task list you can use the cloak to teleport to an altar then return to either Burgh De Rott to bank or the Barrows via the Drakan Medallion to begin a new trip.
