Tip: Get level 80 magic, and use a Polypore staff, it already has the needed things to cast the spell so no inventory slots used, meaning more space for supplies such as prayer potions, meaning more chest loots! It also hits very well!

If you farcast like I do, which is the best way i've found to do it, use an ice spell from the ancients spellbook and count out how many casts you can do before he unfreezes, then run behind the coffin for about one or two seconds, then run within his view and freeze him again and repeat
Example: If you use ice blitz, then you can cast six times before he unfreezes, but I would run at the 5th cast because it ensures you don't get hit by the brother, after he follows you and gets stuck behind the coffin run to the side of the room and lure him into sight and cast another ice blitz and freeze him, then repeat, also, use prayer for the ranged brothers but it's not needed except for Dharoks if you just want to be safe for your first hit.
Equipment: I would recommend highly that you use the staff of light if you're going to use this method because it sometimes negates the use of runes, also I would recommend you use combat robes as well since they also negate the need for runes, so wearing both of those combined would save you a LOT of money. For food and other inventory weapons...I would bring a dds for Ahrim since he is weak against stab..also use the staff of light if you want to melee him because it has good stab bonus, for others I would bring about 5 prayer pots and the rest monkfish & a ROW, having house teles are useful.
The tunnels: You can check the right doors by lowering your map all the way to the bottom and seeing if the door in the room to the treasure chest says "open door" also, the way the tunnels are set up is in a square pattern, there are four rooms surrounding the doors to the treasure, and there is one on each side as well, there are also tunnels that go along the outer walls and let you skip over rooms, this is useful for trying to get back up the ladder.
The reward:u may not always get something, but the best thing to do is to not get discouraged and keep going for as many times as you can without having to bank; you'll get the reward eventually

If you feel confident enough to attempt all melee and multiple runs in one trip without prayer potions, consider this: bring (a) super/extreme set(s) and one normal restore per super set. Kill Ahrim first with base stats and base prayer. Restore and then super. Continue onto Dharok and kill him with residual prayer for you should have enough. Kill the others in any order you please. The reason for the aforementioned is not until your second run. Your stats should still be above base level at the start of your second run, and it is going to be exploited. Ahrim priorities draining stats over attacking and will deal out only the ocasional offensive spell negating the need for anti-mage gear. Restore, pot, and do it again.
If you would rather pray for Dharok or any of the others switch the normal restore for super to save on inv space or simply add a prayer pot.

1. Use Ardy Cloak teleport to recharge prayer after looting the chest, return with ectophile and then draken medalion. This puts you next to barrows with full prayer and no medalion charges used up.
2. Use mage of all brothers except Ahrim who can easily be dispatched with range or melee. A black salamander is very useful for lower levels as it has all combat triangle attacks available.

Real simple bring with you 2 or 3 ppots 10 shark dress in full rune, bring a range weapon for the mage, a dagger for the ranger, and use magic dart on the rest. use pray when dh gets around half health or you will die. pray on the mage the whole time, also ranger.

1. Remember when going to barrows, just like any other unsafe minigame, dont bring what you arent afraid to lose. Even though you might think you are covered, the crypts drain prayer and while facing Dharok if you lose prayer he can combo pretty high by the time you reassign prayer. The other brothers can do the same, but far less likely.
2. Guthans is key, not as a main armor set up, but for the tunnels. Try to limit yourself on only praying on Dharok, Ahrim, and Karil, and you should be able to recover from the run in the tunnels with Guthans. Therefore you last as long as your prayer potions do.

The Saradomin Godsword special is one of the best at barrows because it restores prayer. When it is used as your first attack against any brother, with a decent hit you can avoid using a prayer potion to protect against that brother, or just use protect/deflect until it runs out and tank the rest. If you feel you are likely to miss, then you can use it on a crypt creature before opening the chest, if possible. Remember that Special attacks can be used more frequently per number of normal hits due to all the above ground and crypt running time involved in barrows.
If your prayer will run out on the next drain, you may as well just use the highest boosting prayer you can to maximize damage and minimize points lost to the crypt drain. This may be unwise on Dharok however due to his high hits.
