Ancient Magicks are very efficient spells to use, for their damage and the fact that you refund the majority of your runes by looting the barrows chest!
When using magic to defeat the brothers, don't forget that magic attack bonuses aren't affected while fighting the brothers, this means you can use all your beefy defensive armor with a staff, and still hit as often as if your wearing mage robes!
When you have Dharok in the tunnel, make sure you pay attention incase he spawns before you get to the chest in the center, as he may deal some big damage if you don't have prayer activated when he attacks!
Try to get 6 'creatures killed' before you loot the chest for better loot. The easiest way to get this up is to go into the rooms full of rats (Crypt rats which are lvl 54) and leeches, they are both easy kills to get your count up!

Slayer dart for those with 55 slayer and Iban blast for those without 55 slayer but have done underground pass. Bring around 3-6 prayer potions, stock up with monkfish or better food, you could bring sara brews, but i don't think it's necessary. Bring a ddp++ for the two brother who don't melee, a ring of wealth, and boost your prayer from the monastery or grotto. You can also use ancients which is useful, but i hardly use it since it's a bit more expensive than slayer dart. It's advised to be higher than 70 in attack, strength, defense, and constitution. If you range or mage them it's also advised to be 70 or higher in those skills. Keep an eye on your prayer, have patiences since sometimes you'll get good loot like a piece of barrows armor and other times you can end up with 2k, and have fun.

Cyber Neo's Barrows Guide: Tips&Tricks
#1. Dont waste alot of GP on high level armer and weapons. you can succeed just as well as anybody els with low end gear and planning.
#2. Alot of people think you need ancients to last a long time. false, in fact u can either have a high defense bonus or a good offense is just as good as defense.
#3. If you want to use mage you have 2 cheap options. 1: Polypore Staff (polypore staff has a built in spell, no runes needed and it cost less to charge or buy then the runes for spells and the staff completly charged gives you 3000 cast) 2: magic dart with a staff of light. (staff of light gives a chance of not using your runes on a cast saving u money and letting u cast more)
#4. A very important thing for newcomers is if you dont have alot of money then thanks to Pest Controll you can get Void for free and just a little time and you can do just as good as anybody els.
#5. Prayer is not needed for any of the Barrows brothers. if you dont want to spend any money at all then fish your food of chioce and cook it. Then just bring extra pieces of armer. Dragonhide for ahrims, Rune+ for others and for Dharok a Staff of Light can double as a whip and the special reduces melee damage delt to you.
#6. Jagex recently introduced auras. Members that keep their Subscription up for a little while can get an aura callled Vampyrism. This aura gives you back 5% of the damage you deal to your constitution. Thus saving you on food and making up for lack of high level gear.
#7. Last and Not least, if you dont feel like teleporting after looting the chest every single time then just run back the way you came and climb the rope and start all over. =)
P.S- A Ring of Wealth does work on the chest. You dont need KillCount for barrows armer and weapons loot, thats mainly for runes to pay off trips or to let you cast spells without buying runes.

- Wield armor which has good melee, range and mage defence, but still doesn't degrade your melee/range-attack bonus. This way you can easier switch styles between melee and range. These are the common combat-style @ barrows, I use it and many others.
Example: Karil's skirt and Karil's top.

- Use the spell Vengence from the Lunar spellbook. - You hit back if they hit you through your armor.

Tip: If it's your first time going to Barrows, experiment how much food, potions, runes or arrows you're going to bring.

That way you don't have to keep running back and forth to the bank. Also a big one have a teleport or teleport tab incase of emergencies.

Try to customize your approach so that you will be able to stay as long as you wish. Magic is the best way to kill the brothers in terms of speed and efficiency, so I would suggest using mage. if you don't have access to the ancient spellbook, or want to use a cheaper alternative I would suggest either slayer dart or the polypore staff, if you are using one of these methods i recommend wearing guthans armor and taking the spear to heal against the monsters in the crypt, wearing guthans allows you to tank most of the brothers, you will still want to pray against Dharok as he will be quite dangerous but none of the other melee brothers will pose much of a threat. You can continue to use mage for Karil, and bring a melee or range weapon to use against ahrim, you should bring dragonhide armour to wear for fighting ahrim, or you could just take off your melee armor and fight him in naught but your drawers

. having guthans will allow you to heal in the crypt meaning you don't need to bring much food allowing you to bring more prayer potions. If you decide to bring ancient magic your approach can be much more specific. You will not need to tank any of the melee brothers hits so you will not need to bring prayer potions (i still recommend bringing one just in case) or food (again bring a few pieces to be safe) allowing you to make better use of your inventory space for gear designed to allow for faster more efficient kills. If you have it void knight equipment is a great choice for barrows, I would recommend bringing only the range and mage helms as it is not a good idea to fight karil in void armor. bringing guthans is also a good idea for this strategy, you can wear the armor for fighting karil and also for healing any damage you may have taken. these are both strategies that i have used and found effective and I hope they help other people on their barrows adventures.

I personally like to use a black salamander against the brothers because you can switch between ranged, magic, and melee to fight each brother with an attack that they are weak against. Also be sure and bring enough prayer potions and pray against the brothers accordingly, be sure and bring a good hp food like shark as well and keep an eye on your health, a ring of wealth is helpfull also (you never know, you might get a better reward with it on).

order: dharok karils (use prayer for these 2 if your level is under 70 bring a prayer pot) ahrims (use prayer if you have any left) then the other 3 (or 4) in w/e order you chose i usually go verac and akrisae first then torag then guthans.
equipment: torag plate and legs nietiznot helm slayer staff or staff of light. glory or fury amulet. prayer book. dragon boots. barrows gloves. with black dhide body and legs in your inventory for ahrims.
inventory: food. lobster or better. since your tanking damage from all but 2 or 3 brothers you need food but its cheaper than using prayer for it and using ppots. runes for slayer dart (i bring around 200 casts with me) stocks itself with the loot so pays for most of itself. even when your dry. bring korasi or whip or dds for karils and ahrims
optional: falador shield for a prayer recharge in place of ppots. an extra ppot (with or without fally shield) for one click prayer restore for emergencies and if you have a dharok or karils tunnel. if possible drakens medallion and use the darkmeyer teleport for a bank and alter and a tele straight to barrows. (if using this option have darkmeyer clothing) in inventory) and a ectofial for a one click tele that saves draken medallion charges staying in the area. and to tele out the chest room
rundown: pray melee on dharok range on karils mage on ahrims if you got it. go through the rest if you can do ariksae save a spec for him. melee him till he protects then hit him with the korasi spec then back to melee then switch to your staff and use slayer dart when he melee pros and melee with it when he mage pros (clicking autocast off and on)
i dont kill any creatures in the tunnels below and try to save my runes turning off magic till i meet the brother in the tunnels. try to solve the door puzzles asap.

you should do the quest nature spirit because you will have a lot easier way of geting there and try to run past the ghasts they rot one piece of food sometimes.

be ready against dhorak he may look easy at the start but near the end he can do a lot of damage have your mouse ready to click eat on the food well do it with all of then because they can do some high damage good luck i did it so you can too just try as hard as you can!
