Leave the tunnel for last and once inside remember there's only one way out of the start room and one way into the chest room. Beware as the final brother can attack you at any time when you open a new door though. When you get into the tunnel the fastest way to find the door to the chest is to rotate your camera and see which door opens the room with the reward. I find it easiest to use the custom cursors so when you scroll over the door you will see which one you should head for. Then when you leave the one and only door from the start room you will know which way to head. Good luck. :)

Here is how I usually do the Barrow Brothers on my main account:
Starting with Dharok, as he requires prayer for cheap trip runs.
Gear/Equipment:
This method requires a decent defense bonus, as Verac will strike through prayer no MATTER WHAT!
Melee: Abyssal Whip (Or any chaotic weapon) Verac's Full Armor set (As this prolongs your prayer.) Dragon boots, Dragon Dagger (P++)/Dragon Claws. Any cape with a high defense bonus/prayer bonus. Gloves (Barrows color/Dragon/Regeneration Bracelet.) Berserker Ring. This is just melee gear. !WARNING! MELEE GEAR SHOULD ONLY BE USED AGAINST KARIL AND AHRIM (especially at low levels.)
Mage gear: Slayer's Staff/Ancient Staff. If using Slayer, you will need runes for Slayer Dart. Mystic Robe Top, Mystic Robe Bottom. (You will need to carry this with your melee gear as well.) It may seem like your magic bonus has been damaged, but with Slayer Dart's accuracy, it will not matter. ^This is all you will need for mage gear.
What I recommend for mages?: Ancient Magicks. Ancient Magicks (Ice spells) will allow you to safe-spot (players know what this means) and hit the barrow's brothers. Thus offering a lesser necessity for prayer potions. This will also keep Verac at bay while you tear through his pitiful excuse for armor. (Sorry Jagex. :P )

NOW FOR YOUR INVENTORY! If you are tanking with defense against Verac: 10-12 Sharks, full Guthan's set (you can restore your health with this in the Barrow Tunnels fighting monsters.) about 10-11 Super Restores (4) <- (THESE ARE A MUST! Many players get over-confident when fighting Dharok and do not realize that his attacks are "CRUSH" style attacks, thus meaning they rip through armor.) Varrock Teleport tablets. (If on Ancient Magicks you can use a teleport spell that requires blood runes to teleport you very close to the grave-yard.) SPADE (ALMOST EVERYONE forgets spades.)
If you use this gear: Kill starting with Dharok, use magic and Protection from Melee---

Dharok will fall easily. If he dies quickly, do not use a prayer potion sip unless your prayer is very low.
Move on to the wimp in robes, Ahrim. Before going down select quick prayers as Ultimate Strength, Incredible refleces/Piety/Turmoil. Whichever you like. Sip a super strength and super attack potion. Make sure you have an attack and strength boost. Equip your strength gear and Dragon Dagger (P++) (keep mage gear on to assist in tanking his hits.) Turn on special attack, dig with spade, click quick prayers and click on his tomb. Once you have done this hit him with Dragon Dagger (P++) special attack after special attack. Watch how quickly he falls before you. If he doesn't die, equip your Abyssal whip and hack away at him.
If your stats are damaged too much, sip a super restore, this will give some prayer back.
Move on to Torag if you sipped a super restore. Turn on protect from melee, re-equip your staff and tear through him. After he is dead, do not SIP any more potions.
Now for Verac, this is why you do not sip potions. Verac will hit through melee prayer no matter what you do. Granted, melee prayer will lower his maximum hit of 350 to 250, but either way, damage can be dealt. Rip him apart with magic. ^_^
Karil... pffft... Do the same thing you did to Ahrim, Karil is very strong against magic attacks, so magic is not recommended.
Now Guthan. YAY!!! Same method as Torag, but MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PRAYER! He is very accurate and can restore his life with damage.
(PLEASE NOTE: You will get a tunnel message when doing these brothers, if you get that message ignore it, do not go into the tunnels, instead leave and go on to the next brother mentioned. This will cause you too many prayer potions and will faulty your loot from the chest in the center)
The tunnels: Killing monsters in the tunnels will do this: Increase runes from the chest and bolt racks. If you are attempting to do many runs, do not kill monsters (Unless to restore hit-points with Guthan's.)

I've always kiled the Barrow brothers in a clockwise order on the graves with Ahrim's being last.
- Use Magic on Dharoks, Guthans, Verac's, Torag's.
- Use Melee or Mage on Karils.
- Use Range on Ahrim's.
Armour:
- Rune Platebody, Slayer Staff, Black D'Hide Body, Rune Legs, Dragon Boots, Glory, Helm of Neitznot, Barrow gloves, Any type of Cape.
Weapons:
- Slayer Dart (55+ Slayer is required) 150 death Runes, 600-1000 Mind Runes, Abysll Whip, Dragon Dagger (ssp), Rune C'bow, Crystal Crossbow, or Magic shortbow, Mithril or stronger arrows, Any bolts stronger than mithril + enchanted.
Food:
- Lobsters or better, 1 prayer potion or super restore potion you may always bring extra ones if you plan on doing more than round per trip, just remember to find your way out of the dungeon.
Misc:
- Drakan Medallion if you have one, House Teleport (Canifs Teleporter if you have one), Ectofungus (Quickest way back to Canifs-Mortyania if you dont have the above supplies.) Spade, Ring of Wealth
NOTES:
- Only kill the brothers.
- Beware of multiple barrow brothers showing up in the crypts (door glitch, might not have been fixed yet)
- As soon as you've entered the crypt find your way to the middle and look to see which door is the puzzle door by looking at the other 3 doors around the chest (assuming the door your standing in front of isn't the puzzle door)
- Opening the chest without killing the last barrow brother will spawn the final barrows brother.
- Do NOT & I repeat do NOT open and search the chest with a full inventory...All the items in the chest will be dropped to the ground and you might teleport out too quickly before you spot them.

I am hopeless at finding my way back to the rope.
So what i have done is levelled Zachary Bragg, the medium mage in Temple Trekking at the Canifis end, to 99. This give me a short cut from the Canifis trapdoor directly to Morton. Combine this with a house tab, fill prayer at altar, and a kharal teleport back to Canifis. This has made trips to bank, or just a run back to Barrows, a lot quicker. My house is set up so that my altar is right next to teleport portals.

1.Karil can be maged even though he has ranged armour he has a low mage level making him like the melee brothers in magic defence.
2.Go from dharok-Verac and then Ahrim if your low on prayer (if your wearing void armour)or Karil if you still have prayer-the other 1 you havent went to-Torag if you have no pray left or Guthan if you have prayer left. This is because Ahrim cant hit you well and doesnt rlly take any pray while karil is needed with pray. Same with Torag and Guthan.
