CONTINUING FROM PREVIOUS POST
SUPPLIES
One of each: Super Attack, Super Defense, Super Strength
Three Prayer Restore potions
8-10 Rocktail/Sharks

Although I've tried, I've never been a big fan of using the magic strategy or the salamander strategy. I found that I splashed too much when it came to the cheaper spells, and I ended up cutting my profit short using the more expensive spells. Some people swear by it; however, I've never enjoyed fighting the Barrows brothers that way.
I also am very much anti-ring of wealth. By substituting a ring that adds a small chance of an increased drop, you remove a considerable strength bonus that could be beneficial in the methods that I've listed above. Use the best strength or attack bonus ring that you have access to. The method that I've listed above relies heavily upon strength and crush, and anything you can do to strengthen that is extremely helpful.
I hope that this is helpful to anyone that wants to pursue the melee strategy of fighting the Barrows brothers.

1 carry weapons of magic, melee and ranged but focus mainly on magic as the majority of the brothers are melee warriors and there are only one magic and ranging warriors. This would considerably increase the speed of getting to the chest.
2 I recommend magic armour, for the magic bonus, and the use of protection prayers, bring at least 4 prayer potions, a ring of wealth, any form of fast teleportation, and as much food as you think you need (should last at least one trip).
Good Luck ;)

1. Be on your toes when you're in the dungeons for the last brother so he doesn't surprise you and kill you
2. Since Verac can hit through protective prayers, be sure to have your mouse hovering over some food, especially if you are a lower level

For running Barrows on a budget, use Draken's Medallion to teleport between Darkmeyer (which has an alter for free prayer renewal) and Barrows (to kill the brothers). you will need only 1-2 doses of prayer potion per trip(when u start to fight a brother in the tunnels). doing this will allow you to maximize either you offensive abilities( high magic attack armor, Bandos armour for melee only players) or maximize defense to play is safe(wearing barrows armour and a magic staff) without sacrificing prayer protection due to a lack of a prayer bonus. this takes only a small time longer but pays off big time in the long run.

Also, contrary to popular belief, even though Karil uses powerful range armor, he has a magic level of 1, or pretty close to it, meaning that you will hit him only slightly less than the melee brothers.

Tip:
Use prayer renewal potions in order to never run out of prayer. If your prayer drops have your "quick prayers" set to either Soul Split or Protect from Melee (or mage/range depending on your gear) and "flash" your prayers. The nature of the prayer renewal means that while active you will always be able to do this to either time a protect prayer against dharok, or soulsplit when you feel like it!

Guthan's is a good way to kill barrows use it to heal down in the tunnels on monsters.
Supplies for guthan's method
-Guthan's set
-Ring of Wealth
-Weapon if you plan to melee ahrims.(super set if you melee ahrims)
-Special weapon if you plan to melee ahrims.
-A polypore staff is recommended.
-Prayer potions
-A few food incase
-Teleport to house if you have an altar and teleport to kharyll

If you do not have 70 defense but you do have 82 mage and desert treasure use blood blitz to heal when you need it, you can stay for a long time with the blood blitz because you get the runes needed from the chest while doing barrows.
Supplies for the blood blitz method
-Mage equipment(if you have void with mage helm and melee use that)
-Staff(recomended polypore staff so you dont have to buy runes for other spells)
-Runes for blood blitz(4 blood 2 death per cast)
-Ring of Wealth
-Melee equipment for killing ahrims if you melee him
-Prayer potions
-A few food incase
-Teleport to house if you have an altar and teleport to kharyll
Goodluck to all on drops and have fun doing barrows.

Where to begin!? I love Barrows!!
1) ALL BROTHERS (except relentless little Ahrim) ARE WEAK TO MAGIC!!!! Extremely weak, in fact! If you are able to, bring a nice polypore staff, or lots of casting runes. They will be paid off after every run, trust me!
2) USE DARKMEYER MEDALLION! If you can of course! That Darkmeyer Medallion from Branches of Darkmeyer saves me huge on prayer potions. I'm able to do about 4-5 brothers, teleport to Darkmeyer, use altar, teleport back to Barrows, finish it up. It makes using prayer potions almost obsolete. Sometimes I will use one dose when I encounter a brother in the tunnels, but usually I will just go recharge before I enter the final crypt.

I use polypore staff and void mage gear(and the drakan's medallion, for fast trips) and with 90 magic and 80 prayer i use anywhere between 0-2 doses of a prayer potion per trip(recharging at the darkmeyer altar. If you don't do this, bring along several pray potions for a long trip). The polypore staff is cheap and has great hits if you have higher magic levels.
Bring along a 2-dose prayer potion(or more, depending on whether you use the darkmeyer altar)your void melee/range helm, a melee/range weapon and a godbook/defender(defender for melee). bring 8-10 monkfish(depending on your level, sharks might be needed)
Do it in the following order:
1.Verac/Dharok(it is reccomended you pray against both)-Attack with magic
2.Verac/dharok(depends on which one you did first)-Attack with magic
3.Guthan(prayer helps save food here so you might as well use it)-Attack with magic
4.Karil(pray range, he hits hard)-Attack with magic. Yes, you heard me right. He's got lvl 1 magic i guess, so his mage defence sucks. You'll kill him faster than with melee/ranged.
5.Torag(Prayer not needed.if you have spare prayer, you may want to use it, unless your magic isn't much higher than 80) attack with magic.
6.Ahrim(prayer not needed if you have 86+ magic and 70s defence)-Attack with ranged/melee, ranged being more efficient.
How many doses you use depends on the brother in the tunnel. If the brother is torag or guthan you will use no prayer against them and thus a potion to replenish drained prayer is not needed. If you can trap the other 3 melee brothers fast enough, prayer is not needed either. If you can't trap them, 1-2 doses will be needed to rid them with magic(karil is the fastest to be dispatched with magic usually). The second dose is emergency only, chances are you will not need it. But just incase your prayer runs out and dharok is *almost* dead.
