All I do is get my armor, my weapons, and sharks. I don't rely on prayer at all. For Ahrim, bring D'Hide(I also bring my c'bow and bolts). Dharok isn't much of a problem at all as long as you have good defense. The rest of the brothers are easy to defeat as well.

Melee Brothers Equiptment: bring prayer pot doses to take before the battle, Food (monkfish or better) runes and magic lvl for any of the Ice Spells Burst + is best...
Melee Brothers Battle: When fighting the melee brothers before you
1. Open the coffen turn on protect from prayer the brother should come out hit him with ice spell (from anchient magic's spell book after desert treasure)
2. Turn off pray run off a bit turn and cast the spell on him 3 times, behind the coffen so he cannot hit you (the ice spell will quit working for a few seconds)
3. After that run around the alter and cast again and repeate
Ahrim Equiptment: bring Red Dragon Hide+ Magic Short bow (darkbow is too slow) and mithril arrow+ (if you use cross bows bring mithril bolts+) food Monkfish+)
Ahrim Battle: Turn on protect from mage (optional) and open his coffen
1. run off a few squares and use rapid attack from short bow (if you brought one) and use the magic short spec on him.
2. with dragon hide armor on he shouldnt hit high so he is the simplest of all brothers to dispatch
Karil Equiptment: (what i use) i bring my magic robes ainchent magic's spell book and cast ice spells on him, you can use melee rune armor has worked for me with 80+ defense and abyssal whip
Karil Battle: Turn on Protect from Range Prayer (reccomended for magic) and open the coffen
1. attack him like any normal monster watch your health because he can sometimes hit high

Ainchent magicks has worked for me and ability to do 2 rounds of barrows before i am required to bank,,
NOTE: do not drink prayer pots to bring up prayer because when it shows barrows faces on computer screen they drain your prayer, so do not waste the pot
We expect no mercy, None shall be given.

Hello! For my top two tips i will be covering "What equipment to bring," along with "The best ways of handling each monster or boss." So lets get started!
1) What Equipment To Bring:
Like with most cases it depends on your combat level and what you have access too. In my situation it can be about having fun (ice barrage/blood barrage) and stay there literally for 100+ runs, or save my money and do a few runs per trip, near to max strength bonus. This way i'm not wasting money on runes, thus profiting as much as i can per trip.
You need to find what works best for you according to your combat level. If your around 70 combat, i'd say a minimum of a Ice Burst/ Blood Burst combination. In fact unless your melee stats are near to maxed out (99) then you should probably mage, like most people choose to do. Since the release of the polypore staff everyone with at least 80 magic seems to find it very useful when it comes to barrows.
SO MY TIP IS: Bring only what you need to dispatch these brothers, there's no need for an "overkill."
2) The best ways of handling each monster or boss:
There is in fact a strategic order when it comes to which brother we want to take out first. Its hard to explain which order for each individual, but i will explain the best order according to my personal experience. I cannot go into full detail because i'm short for characters. When arriving at barrows go to the Dharoks hill first (NE) this is because DH can get the highest. Now Karils (S) because he is one of the most accurate. And then Guthans because he can heal. Then Veracs, by now you will probably be out of left over prayer, or close to it if your 95+ Prayer. now it doesnt matter because veracs can hit you even if your praying protect from melee. Then Akrisae, Torags, and lastly Ahrims because Ahrims has a chance to lower your stats.

SO MY TIP: Destroy the barrows brothers in the given order, Dharoks/Karils/Guthans/Veracs/Akrisae (for those with rotm completion)/Torags/Ahrims.

Off topic flaming post hidden.

This thread is awesome! I'm a Barrows nooblette (have been but am not 'good' at it) and learning some things here.
Can anyone explain this one - didn't quite get it?

"Second tip: When entering the tunnel and you happen to get a side-way door as first (the door that leads 2 rooms away rather than to next room) then always make sure you check that the door you will be "missing" isn't open. This can be done with any graphical settings you might have. "

quick tip for those using prayer to fight the brothers:
The order in which you kill the brothers can save you loads of money. Try to save Guthan's and Torag for right before the tunnel (in that order), as these two brothers are not as dangerous to run out of prayer on compared to the others.
Try to run out of prayer just a little before you finish off torag, that way when you enter the tunnel, the constant prayer drains won't have any effect on you and you won't be wasting prayer!
