1.Use slayer dart, it's good with melee armour and the runes get replaced from the chest
2.Kill the barrow brothers in this order Dharok, Ahrim, Karil, Guthan, Verac, Torag to save prayer points

Barrows truly is very easy if you have a good method to it. I have a way to not need any food or prayer if your really willing to work at it. In order to use no food or pray you have to have guthans and be maging. both of those are a must but it allows you to camp barrows until you break your guthans or run out of inventory space. you can either use ice blitz or barrage. with ice blitz you get 4 casts until you have to run around a sarcophagus to hide from being hit. with barrage you have 6 casts until the brother is unfrozen so use the same strategy as what is recommended with ice blitz. if you use regular spellbook bring casts of entangle to stun the brothers and cast from a distance. entangle has the same stun time as ice blitz so you get 4 casts then hide behind a sarcophagus. restun the brother from a safe distance behind the sarcophagus and finish him off you should only need 2 rounds of stuns to finish each brother. now for ahrim and karil. karil is easy just use high melee defense armor and a strong melee weapon nothing to him. if you want you can use magic against karil, but then you would need lower defense armor to be able to hit well with mage. Ahrim you can range and that will finish him off very easily. my recommendation to be able to hybrid is void with 2 helms. this allows easy switching for good attacking bonuses with range and mage. since you have guthans the melee helm isnt necessary but it is helpful. once you have found a tunnel if you have taken a lot of damage from the brothers you can use your guthans to heal. My top recommendation through all of this advice is heal with your guthans in the tunnel between brothers if your health is at a dangerously low level. You do not need to wait until all the brothers are dead to go into the tunnel to heal you can do it between kills if needed. by using this method you need no food or prayer potions you can just have them as safety precautions.

two tips?! (sighs) I guess my ASL paid off by summarizing things! here i go..
First, I recommend only mage, its the easiest way since the majority of the brothers are melee. With mage you can sweep thru the 4 melees and still have enough prayer for Ahrim and Karil. Always, always, always do Dharoks first, then go in a counterclockwise motion thru each mound. if you're low on prayer skip Torags and kill Karil, thus you wont have to worry about running out of prayer on him. And make sure you finish Ahrims last, since hes the least threatening, do not do Ahrims first since he will lower your melee stats including Defense.
Secondly, Barrows is all about the money, and the best way to make money there is preservation. Build an altar and a Kharryl portal in your POH, take house tabs that way when you are done with your one (and only one needed) run, click on your house tab and recharge prayer, then enter the kharryl portal back to canifis bank to prepare for your next run. You can easily do a run in 5 minutes or less if youre a good mager. Don't forget your vecna skull for the +6 mage boost!

use melee prtoection prayers for verac, dharok, guthan, torag and akrisae. use ranged protection prayers for karil and magic protection prayers for ahrim. bring plenty of high healing food (i recommend monkfish) and 3-5 prayer potions as well as potions boosting attack, strength, magic or ranged and of course a super defence potion. remember to keep protection prayers on at all times ( you need at least level 43 prayer).to defeat verac dharok, guthan and torag use the highest level ice spell possible from the ancient magiks spell book (unlocked upon completion of desert tresure quest). to defeat karil use slashing melee attacks or any sort of high magic spell. to defeat ahrim use a strong ranged weapon with strong ammunition. to deafeat akrisae use a a melee weapon with a high strength bonus or the same range weapon and ammo use to defeat ahrim. and lastly always remember to bring a ring of wealth for a greater chance for a rare drop.

1. Kill Count does not increase chance of receiving barrows loot, it only increases the number of stacked items you receive (Runes, Coins, Bolt Racks, etc.) If you want to try and "farm" (try to get a specific item/s) barrows items, just leave your kill count at 0 for fast barrows runs. However, if you wish to make more money, get a higher kill count (Don't forget a Ring of Wealth!)
2. Cheap Weapons to bring to Barrows: Using a black salamander and harralander tar is an inexpensive and effective way to kill Dharok, Torag, Verac, and Guthan with its magic attack. Bring a rune crossbow and broad-tipped bolts for Ahrim to range attack him (Magic is useless against him and he lowers your melee stats), Finally, bring a dragon defender and a whip for Karil, due to his weakness to melee (Super/Extreme pots help too!)

Tip #1:
If you've played the Temple Trekking minigame and obtained 500 points you can unlock an option to teleport to Burgh de Rott from the games necklace. Burgh de Rott is the closest bank to gear up if you're running to Barrows. You can use the necklace in combination with the Ardougne Cloak (easy task set reward cape) to be teleported near the monastary to pray at the alter to restore your prayer points. The games necklace is an alternative for those who haven't done the Branches of Darkmeyer quest yet for the medallion.

Tip #2:
When you're first learning Barrows, be sure to take a teleport to house tablet with you, this way you can die at home and retain all of your equipment. Don't always count on a ring of life to save you as it doesn't activate if you've been hit over 10% of your life points (especially true for Dharok as he hits hardest when he's close to death, also remember Verac can hit through prayers and armor at times). As you learn more about Barrows and become comfortable with it you can stop taking the teleport tablet to free up a slot for an extra potion or food. Also be sure to have enough money to replace what you lose just in case you do die. Everyone dies at least once at Barrows, so make sure you're prepared for it as much as possible so you don't get discouraged about trying Barrows again.

Tips by Magis :D
First tip: Take combat style switches with you, you can deal with the brothers a lot faster than when useing only one combat style. e.g. Use mage attacks for brothers that use melee style of the combat triangle, and use melee on Ahrim and Karil (mage and range) [If you have done Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest you will need to take 2 combat styles anyways because of Akrisae]
Second tip: When entering the tunnel and you happen to get a side-way door as first (the door that leads 2 rooms away rather than to next room) then always make sure you check that the door you will be "missing" isn't open. This can be done with any graphical settings you might have.

That would be my tips for other peopel who do barrows.
Cheers!

My top tip for barrows, The easiest method is to use a black salamander and the slayer dart spell. The accuracy of both these even with melee armour on means that you can wear your armour or use prayer. It is also a very cost effective option as the salamander can use ranged, slash and magic without changing the ammo, only the attack style.
