1. Don't be afraid to put your prayer potions to use if you're new to barrows! It'll make your experience much easier and even more enjoyable (and you'll most likely get some riembursement if you're using a ring of wealth).
2. Once you're comfortable with barrows, try freezing the bosses in place with ice magic and far-casting with the polypore staff or a salamander diagonal to the boss. This will reduce you're material consumption and you'll get most of your runes back (minus the water runes and the polypore charges/salamander tar).
Enjoy!

1. Always learn the awnsers of the puzzle-doors out your head! This can be very useful so you can click on the right awnsers very fast! This can avoid creatures attacking you and have to kill it before you can click on the door again.
2. When you use Magic on the Melee-Brothers, Melee on Karils and Ranged on Ahrim, then you should forget your ranged-weapon and ammo because Ahrim is also weak to Melee and Karil's is weak to Mage aswell. Always know what weapons you're bringing before starting Barrows!
I hope you find these tips useful!

Tip: Have some sort of stunning or freezing spell with you, once the brother is frozen you can easily use a polypore staff to kill them (for higher levels)
Tip: Use a salamander against the brothers, it have highly effective dammage but it does cost a few thousand GP's
Tip: Don't bring a spade, with the new update to the Barrows Brothers, there will be spades planted in the top of each hill waiting for you to use!
Tip; Use the fairy ring's to get there quicker, though is requires the quest 'In Search of the Myreque' to be done, it's worth it because it saves time and the possibility of your food turning rotten from running through the Mort Myre swamp.
Tip: Bring more restores than food, you will have to use prayer through the entire minigame except the small intermissions between fights.

Hi all,
first of all, for higher levels, try completing the quest "The Branches of Darkmeyer" (master quest) wich will reward you with a medaillon that will teleport you at the entrance of barrows or if needed, a bank.
This medaillon will save you A LOT of running and time!
A second tip is, like you all have read allready, using magic spells!
The barows brothers will die very quickly -> you lose less lifepoints, prayer and time !
Good luck, followers xx :)

my two tips:
*(the guy above said the thing of bod first >.&lt ;) a healing weapon (like the es or the sara gs) can be good for long trips.
*a black salamander or a polypore staff for cheap magic and a strong melee weapon (whip or gs)

1) Ahrim is very easy to kill without prayer if you wear range armour. Even green dragonhide is fine. He mostly just lowers your melee stats, so with some luck you can range him down without losing a single hp.
2) Ardougne cloak (any level) allows you to teleport next to an altar. To get back, you can use the nearby fairy ring (it's to the east, near Tower of Life) to get to Canifis, or you can use Kharyrll teleport or Drakan's medallion.

1. What i believe will provide the largest advantage against the barrows brothers is to remember the combat triangle (Melee > Ranged, Ranged > Magic, Magic > Melee). This theory has the more effect in barrows I've found than most other areas of the game. Basically, use:
Magic for Dharok
Magic for Verac
Magic for Torag
Magic for Guthan
Melee for Karil
Ranged for Ahrim (This is flexible, melee can effectively be used).
This tip should save a lot of time and money, unless you have melee stats maxed out and can plow through every brother with ease.

2. If you have adequate levels, use a salamander (swamp lizard, orange, red or black), depending on your Attack, Ranged, and Magic levels. Although, I reccomend using red or better. This will save your inventory space for prayer potions or food, rather than filling it with gear to specialize against each brother. As a salamander can attack using all three sides of the combat triangle, using one only reinforces the usefulness of my previous tip.

i made barrows from like lvl 76cb till now 121 starting from dds of poison ending to polypore staff and here is my humble advice to novices:
1-dharok,verac,torag and guthan are weak against magic so i recommend you use
with them slayer dart as it is cheap and strong or use salamanders according to the requirments you have.
2-ahrim is weak against range and karil is weak against meele, magic works well too.
extra advice:use prayer potions as they will keep you out of danger.
