Kittyphantom:

"What is your attitude towards and relationship with Jagex like?
Addendum: Ah, yes, and you may be interested to know that I forced a certain noted intellectual of my acquaintance to read your novel.
Addendum #2: Following your request, you may be interested to know that having read the revised first chapter, I personally find it to be an improvement upon your original work - Something that I can state with the utmost honesty that I did not think possible."

It's a very good one and I suppose informal and friendly would class our working arrangement appropriately out of the options you specified.

I am also very glad to hear you thought the new edition is improved on the first - that is encouraging.

I am intrigued to know who this intellectual of note is however? Any chance of an endorsement?

Hi Horya:

"why you focused on Asgarnia so much, but you excluded Port Sarim and Rimmington?"

Good point. Rimmington got a mention as Theodore and Castimir's place of birth and childhood but the port was not mentioned. The truth is there is a world out there that is waiting to be explored in future novels so I couldn't get everything into the first novel.

Fireslinger4:

"1. What is your favorite skill?"

I have to confess that woodcutting is my highest skill but not my favourite. I think that would have to be crafting due to its flexibility. Combat wise however it would be attack!

To everyone who asked a question:

Thank you all for your kind questions. I am sorry I was not able to answer them all but there are many repeats amongst them so with luck I think most will have been dealt with.

And as to my favourite question?

It has to be . . .

Thorondor: "Do you think there are universal, 'core'-things that make a book good?"

A very thought-provoking question that is one I think deserves to win. Jagex will be in touch with you in the days to come for your signed copy!

Thank you everyone for participating.

Tom Church.

Hi guys,

A massive thanks to you all for your questions and an equally massive thanks to T.S Church for taking the time to visit us.

Congrats go to Thorondor for posting Tom's favourite question of the night. We'll be in touch in the next few days to arrange getting your signed copy of Betrayal at Falador to you.

We'll have another Q&A session before too long which will feature the dev team answering your questions on how to get into game design should that be something you're into.

There are pictures of the session up on our facebook page if you fancy checking them out and if you want to leave some feedback on the session, the question thread is open and waiting for you.

Thanks guys,

Paul M
