Some of the things you people are saying quite rude..
If you enjoy the game, then vote for it! Don't comment negativity, their vote is well earned and they've done nothing but try and bring better things to the game...

Runescape would be very boring If it hadn't changed.. Just imagine a game that has never added more content or changed the game..

I Voted for you Jagex!

Good luck! :)

The problem is Jagex implemented update that the majority of players hate, and most of them either quitted or remain silent about it. Make it seems like only the minority hates this Jagex and the direction it is going, and those are the players that complain on the forum.

Edit: And change isn't always = good.

If you go to page 20, check out DreamGuard's post, you might understand what some of the players hate.

I won't be voting for you this year, Jagex, but I also won't vote against you. I love this game and I think overall you've done a great job. But a lot of things I've seen and heard in the past few months have just rubbed me the wrong way, and I can't bring myself to support it.

Good luck.

I'm hoping 2013 is the fluke year, there has never been a worse RS year since I started in 2006.
Dahh!

I'm a huge fan of both RuneScape and Jagex, so by default I'm inclined to vote for and ultimately support both this game and the company that backs it. However, just like last year when this time came around, I honestly think you folks have yet to truly get your act together. There have been some marvelous positive changes, but also some other changes, such as those to do with (in my opinion) downsizing the teams at Jagex that uphold the community and ultimately giving the community far less support than it deserves.

I know this isn't the place for such feedback though, so I simply wish Jagex all the best in this awards competition. Unfortunately, I won't be voting at all due to the only game I'm truly connected to and up for voting (RuneScape) being in a troublesome era.
Just your friendly neighborhood team player.

tell you what jagex, you stop pumping out junk that needs to be paid for by runecoins and start making real content and you might just get your players support.

edit.

don't get me wrong, I love the eoc. it revived stale combat and now that its been fine tuned is working well.

the things I don't like are:

the mercy you show gold buyers/sellers despite it being a rule to not buy or sell gold.

the free trade and wilderness being brought back, ever since that happened we have hackers, scammers, beggars, and a loss of a large number of players who were the decent sort of people who made the community great. now its mostly antisocial people or noobs expecting free money and are not willing to listen to advice on how to earn it.

then theres that solomons store! seems not a week goes by without there being another update for the store. yes you merged it with loyalty store but so far the new items are runecoins only.

you are not fooling me with it, you can take a dump in a paper bag and call it chocolate but we see it for what it is. so when you update the store be sure to allow loyalty points to buy the new items.

this jagex is why I am not going to vote for you nor will a number of others for these reasons.

I voted for you the first year that you won. The last vote I didn't because you were up for Best F2P and all you guys did that year was poop on your F2P community.

Now this year, I'm going to vote against you. Not out of spite, but because I don't really think you deserve it. And if you win, it's gonna go straight to your heads.

RuneScape 3 is very much a community-strengthened game. Jagex designed and implemented some AMAZING updates this year with graphics that are almost competitive, but it still lags in the category of "completing" its content - completing graphical dwarf updates, patching minigame incongruitites, rebalancing shop/item prices, taking in-hq feedback, etc. It takes the testing and feedback of millions of players to make the 12 years of content mesh together. You can see this in the sometimes 200-per-month patch notes. So I'm tempted to vote for Rs3, but I want to think about it a bit more.

P.S. Some of the screenshots on CVG aren't of RuneScape.

Haha they uploaded **** from WoL onto it :|

They're up against WoW, GW2, LoL, DOTA, WoT... How exactly are they going to win? RS may be fun, but it doesn't stand a chance.
