Sorry Jagex, but you guys don't deserve this at all this year. Since you seem to care so much about this award in the past, I hope that this year you suffer a crushing defeat and that it actually opens your eyes about the reality of your game.

The biggest disappointment I had with this year was that it was dubbed "The Year of the Player" by some doorknob moderator (MMG?), and thus far you guys have failed to live up to this bold declaration.

This year has been another year of completely appalling Customer Service, a terrible lack of interaction with the community in regards to questions, serious game issues, and inquiries about important things that are posted here on the forums. And worst of all, you continue to degrade the integrity of this game into dust as more & more MTX are added into RuneScape. I could max this post out by citing dozens of specific examples, but I will save my breath - you know exactly what you've done.

I hope this year serves as a wake up call and that you guys put forward a better effort next year. You have absolutely no reason not to invest a little more time, money, and energy in these lacking areas of the game & your customer service now that you are making an absolute killing off of Bonds, SGS, and SoF combined.

RuneScape is now officially a Pay-to-Win game. How about using some of those profits to prove the skeptics among us wrong, and actually further the development of this game & your relationship with your disgruntled community?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'm voting for Jagex, I don't care what you guys say, they may have some bad updates but it's still one of my favourite games, and I will support them. If you don't enjoy it, why bother playing? If you don't have anything nice to say, honestly don't say it at all.

The EoC was a step in the right direction, along with the bot nukes. Those were all fantastic updates!!!! But everything else really hasn't done much. Sorry jagex but League is going to win.

The game just doesnt appeal to me like it used to, now it seems all the focus is on cosmetic items and SGS and stuff like that. That may not be true but It sure is looking like it to me.

cant agree on the eoc; it was rushed when it came it out and its still needs severe improvement before it can be called a success. The bot nuke was extremely necessary and that was one update that everyone enjoyed.

I wish I could post this on my main, sadly I can't. The only reason i'm a member on my main is thanks to bonds, being able to buy membership using RSGP is the ONLY thing worth buying bonds. Not spending another dime IRL money on this dying game. Now that i've said that.

Jagex, quite honestly, I don't understand how you can make any claim about how great this game is- how this year has been "the year of the player." "Our year." Blah blah blah.

There's a REALLY good reason why all minigames are virtually dead, cws is only "active" because of the few people who are still there for the trim req. - but not to mention the fact that 90% of the regulars have quit or moved to CWS private servers.

You can live in this fantasy world all you want and believe that RS3 is a success, but seriously... look around you. How active is this game really... On my main I have FIVE friends still on it, and only one of which still plays actively. Out of the 100+ others, they all quit. Everything in this game that used to be so much fun is DEAD. CLW, SWS, the two most active places on RS are so utterly inactive. I haven't even been to SWS in the past two months, but i'd bet my bank on the fact that it's STILL empty.

You have NOTHING to brag about.

ffs why am I wasting my time typing this when you idiots don't listen.

What I find funny is all throughout the years people have been saying "RIP RuneScape" since 2003, and never was it true because we've always seen growth, activity. Not anymore, i'm hopping on the band-wagon after nearly 10 years.

Sws, cws, clw, fog, house parties.
R.I.P

And for everyone who disagrees with this facts. Before you say something stupid, look at the player count and ask yourself why it hasn't grown for the last 10 months. "Bots," lol, don't kid yourself. My 100+ friends list, my clan, my friend's clans, clans of friend's clans that all died/quit would all tend to disagree.

yeah the EoC was rushed but a change was needed, the game was unable to have full potential without it.

what we wanted was a re-balance of the combat triangle, something we were hoping would happen with the eoc, however what we received instead was a poor excuss for a combat system.
