RuneScape 3 is very much a community-strengthened game. Jagex designed and implemented some AMAZING updates this year with graphics that are almost competitive, but it still lags in the category of "completing" its content - completing graphical dwarf updates, patching minigame incongruitites, rebalancing shop/item prices, taking in-hq feedback, etc. It takes the testing and feedback of millions of players to make the 12 years of content mesh together. You can see this in the sometimes 200-per-month patch notes. So I'm tempted to vote for Rs3, but I want to think about it a bit more.


P.S. Some of the screenshots on CVG aren't of RuneScape.



Millions of players? There are barely 50k people online everyday/all day... Compared to few years ago, it's dropped alot :L

I think It's pretty safe to assume you won't ever win this award again. Ever.

Jagex has no way now of fixing what they messed up with in Runescape, not that they would even try at this rate.

When you won those 2 Golden Joystick awards, you really deserved it. It was the Golden Age of Runescape, the game was truly enjoyable and amazing. But compared to what we currently have, I could probably say this is a another whole different game from that one which won the award.

Consider this your burden: When you reached the top through hard and good work, you gave that up for the sake of money. So know that you'll never achieve the prestige and glory you once had in the past, when you deserved this award.

If most of the playerbase here who has spoken hates you, it's your own fault. And this time, it's this vocal minority who really matters in the end.

A lot? There was a time, think about the 2 years in which Jagex won the Golden Joystick awards, that there were 200k players online at the weekends(And yes, thats before the bots' infestation, before Wildy and FT were reopened). Playerbase was cut in a quarter from then; what happened here was a genocide in the game.

I feel as though money has gotten to Jagex, so they constantly neglect to pay attention to f2p, p2p is more like p2w...

I don't care if an ocean separates me from their base of operations, this world-wide game once mattered to everyone !
