I play the game still, but so much that is obviously not right.

I am afraid the bottom line for me is that I couldnt vote for a game where you can buy levels.....end of story

Squeal of Failure may have made you some short term money but it ripped the heart out of the game, and you never even noticed. Sorry to be so brutally frank but you don't deserve to win at the moment.

As it is, they've done quite a lot in this year.

They've tweaked EoC combat so it isn't as broken.
They've given us a pre-EoC alternative!
Bots are a thing of the past, as is the RWT problem.

Leave your hate at home, vote for Jagex and RS3!

Jagex, you guys did a pretty ok job this year. RS3 was a pretty cool update. You guys released some unlikable updates but we all understand that a business is made to make profit and with the current player base you need to add more ways for you to make profit.
Keep trying to improve this game that ive loved for soo long. Just treat it the way I do. With respect.

The SoF is a minor nitpick. I've yet to see any kind of update that has changed the inner essence of RS. I've been playing this game for over 10 years, so I know it all too darn well. And yes, this game still deserves a vote.

Sorry Jagex, no vote for you this year.

Couple reasons:

A: Failed customer support: I cannot understand why you don't just hire one/two people at a cost of $100,000 per year. A single decent JMod could double forum morale.

B: Microtransactions: Non-cosmetic ones are a good way to kill your game. Also, your hundreds of cosmetic items literally could have revived every single square of RS. But nope...

C: Code of Conduct: Yes, there are flaws. And if you had decent customer support, you would have archived my posts.

D: Castle Wars: Not fixing absurd 5000 game requirement was silly.

But, all of these can be combined into one.....

E: Lack of Leadership: You don't have any. Here's a question, Jagex: if you could "Alan Smithee" yourself in the video games industry, just how many of your employees would go for it? My prediction: a bunch.

I would vote for you guys, but you don't listen to the community.

Back in may you released a CW update which made me lose 30hours progress towards halo. I posted on forums about 200 posts before giving up because you guys ignored me. We must change the raffle rules to avoid raffle rigging in future

Haha, good one. Just because they don't listen to you, doesn't mean they don't listen to others. Frankly, they've delivered a lot of things that I've been asking for for a long time (like more enjoyable combat, an easier interface, and a downloadable game client). Really is a shame that you didn't get what you want, but not everyone has the same preferences.
