Like Seriously? What the Hell??
You know...I rarely post, I never need to bang on about updates, I just adapt and get on with it, but this has irritated me. I love this game ~ yes, things have changed dramatically over the years ~ and I still love it in many ways, but my love is fading.
For Jagex to be fishing for players to sit in front of a camera and make a testimonial for them to use elsewhere for advertising is simply mercenary (I have a better word for it, but I will be polite or get removed).
A life times free runescape? Cheers, but it's not worth it, my account and my personality are worth way more than that. Jagex should know this, as I have been a non stop member for many years, so can obviously pay for my subscription. I think these guys got it wrong this time. The comment "if you have been here from day one, or for one day, dosn't matter". As far as I'm concerned, it bloody well does! And I wouldn't demean myself by sitting in front of a camera to say "wow my best memory is being ko'ed by a rat"! I might as well get a set of dentures and advertise sterident!!
Jeez...lower than low. Good luck to the winner though.
I have one more 99 cape to get, and after that? I'll take my cash elsewhere.
Reward the real players Jagex ~ or lose them.
