@Freggel S: Yes, this RuneScape Classic Re-opening, which is the last as per Jagex's word, is only available to players with Membership, and in order to continue playing RuneScape Classic after having your account enabled, you require Membership there as well.
In regards to this Developer Blog, I truly enjoyed it, so thank you very much for providing us all with a prodigiously interesting read, Mod Nexus and Andrew Gower
.
It's always interesting to read the origins of such a brilliant game, and as an aspiring games developer myself, it inspires me a fair bit.
Just your friendly neighborhood team player.
Very nice blog. I see you admit that the game has gotten even easier, but it was so nostalgic reading that. When I first started playing in 2004, I remember looking up that kind of information since I was interested in how RuneScape evolved. This blog is so nostalgic.
Indie Game Developer, Worldbuilder
The Scrying Pool Clan
This blog is pure nostalgic.
But it's a big dissappointment, if not, THE BIGGEST EVER, I've heard in RS history. Future new players will never get the chance to play.
If you indeed opened every 6 months like you said back in 2009, now that would be good. Or just open it again forever(members only).
Your choice thou.
Mod Nexus: Are you looking forward to RuneFest

Are you looking forward to RuneFest'?'.
Someone forgot their punctuation. Haha
[not trying to be offensive in that last sentence by the way.]
92xp till I hit 99 agility in RSC. Andrew really did not want anyone to hit 99 in that skill ;p. After all the xp per hour capped at ~43k xp and that was when I had my mind in the game.
Anyway it's going to be fun getting the 99 at this years runefest.
