***Report of current events***

Two major events need to be written down as soon as possible.

Firstly, the statuette recovered by the thief has been examined closely, and carefully. Paperwork found related to the statue proved as a warning, and has proved that, when human blood is in contact with the statue, it will, temporarily, "mutate" into a blood-like substance which will both contaminate any other blood it comes into contact with and also seek out a human host. Should this temporarily-active "blood" end up inside a human host, it will slowly turn them into a vyre, starting the process of "vyre transformation" as some call it. The statue is currently being held in a secure location.

Secondly, and most worryingly, the group of inexperienced vyre-slayers known as "The Silver Hammer" seem to have one VERY experienced vyre-slayer, who goes by the name of "Andy". The vyre slayer is also six or seven feet tall, has an arsenal of BLISTERWOOD weaponary, and proclaims himself to be the actual, living, unborn son of saradomin, who would happily have killed the scouting member of the myreque for not being saradominist, had they not identified as being part of the myreque.
It would appear that this "silver hammer" doesn't outright attack myreque members because it would take a lot of effort to write off killing those who slew Drakan. However, myreque members are advised NOT to punch this man in the face, even if he does call you "heathen scum" or "a heathen *****", dependant on gender.

Personal note - We need to find more information on this fighter of theirs. Specifically where he gets his apparent "magic" from, and where in infernus he got such an arsenal of blisterwood weaponary. - Connor

Personal Comment:

Either A) vyre contacts
Or B) Godmoding

With the quiet festivities of wintumber over, things have, rather quickly, turned dark again.

The clothes, armour, and weaponry of Athena Stern, each single piece of equipment she had and used, have been found left in the river to the east of town.

Connor De'Terro seems to have dropped off of the face of the earth once more, and rumors of the northern group kidnapping people seems to be more of a threat.

The group of nobles who proclaim themselves to be The Silver Hammer seem to be becoming murkier by the second, with the blisterwood-laden madman claiming to be one of them, and outright threatening the myreque, simply leaving the myreque be because it would be a hassle. All this, and the inquisitor's boot still hangs high over the heads of every last person in De'Rott.

Happy new year. But the myre's still as dangerous as ever.

Latest Reports

Barrows:
There was a rumor that a dragon burial site was very close to the barrows.
Only one problem.
Either someone dug it up, or it clawed it's way out.

Mort Myre Swamps:
Bizarre patches of snow have appeared in the swamps.
Update: The mysterious patches of snow seem to be the work of a very powerful, if unstable mage, called Elizabeth, who is now safely in Burgh De Rott.

18th Rintra Part 1/2

My hands are shaking as I write this entry. It has been so long since I last wrote in my journal, but it is borderline necessary.

The most recent, and important event is that the vyres are planning to unite as one, more importantly, are planning to overthrow any houses who will not agree to be part of a united vampyre nation. Having helped to set these plans in motion, I now must help see them through...perhaps Calsidiu will understand in time. Regardless, with the help of two vyres known only as Star and Syn, I intend to use their positions to my advantage and try and get Constance out of hiding to finally get that accursed book.

Speaking of vyres, recently a very...disturbing event occurred involving various vyrelords an ladies meeting.... in Burgh' . The damned house For** have decided that they own Burgh', and were more than happy to use it as a meeting ground, stating that there was going to be some "show of power" at port phasmatys. Basically, For** is trying to remind the world that it exists.

Moreso, after a few words with Ren, it seems that Ren, along with house Draculea (As far as I know), house For** AND the Pravens intend to put an end to the inquisitor to prove that the land is theirs. Moving everyone in town to the bunker might be safest, if a fight kicks off, it's going to be bloodey .

Following Ren's advice, I went to the pub at canifis and was reminded of how much of a terrible place it was. However, I have found a master smith to work on my and Cal's "little project". Eventually, when I went to leave, some mad knight in full armor brought absolute chaos along with him as he decided to cast some sort of magnetization spell on Ren. While the man was in full metal armor. From the sounds I heard while I was crawling away, backpack trying to drag me into the mix, it sounds like it didn't end well for either party.

Oh, yes. Almost died again. As if it wasn't bad enough already, there's ANOTHER cult of psychos happy on killing everyone in the name of their god. "The Akrisae Cult" or somesuch. Unfortunately, they seem to have rather apt combatants, and I barely escaped with my life, Elzbeth saving me from a whip-related death. They seem to be killing or kidnapping members of the barrows tribes too, from what I'm to understand.

Me and Elzbeth have become aquainted with a man who calls himself "Garrow". He's a member of a group who call themselves "The Big Game Hunt Order"...not a very snappy name, but these people thrive on killing beasts larger than them. This is where things get a little..odd.

Elzbeth and I were invited to come along with this "Garrow" fellow and take on a chaos elemental which had been a problem up north. Upon taking the thing out, in which an extremely painful fight ensued (and embarrassing when I set my own arm on fire..a curse on all billy's inventions!), which ended in the death of only the chaos elemental. Soonafter, we found what it was a guardian to.... one of the talismans ! Naturally, we're taking good care of it. With Garrow's order holding the Talismans of Chaos and Earth, and considering the other talismans which are already in the vault, all that's missing is Fire, Water, Air and Blood.

Elzbeth said that at one time, Cal' managed to get his hands on a blood talisman. I know that's the talisman key we're looking for, I just know it. There are far, far too many coincidences for it to be otherwise. Just happening to run into a group who had the talisman of earth who just happened to be going after a chaos elemental which just happened to be guarding the chaos talisman key? It's...far too coincidental. Something's afoot here. But I'm almost certain Calsidiu holds one of the four remaining talismans.

Also, the site of a dead dragon was dug up. Odd.
