Merci. Post away.
One man's trash is another's treasure, and one man's cash buys another's pleasure.
So I'll rob from the cradle, and I'll rob from the grave; it's just human traffic, and I'm just a slave.

Thread partially complete; should be enough to give you all an idea of what we're about. I'm off to bed.

The goods right now are limited, but should be of interest to discerning customers. This is just the beginning! Any and all purchases can be arranged on this thread via direct correspondence - we do not use forms.
*** Fiore Spring Collection catalogues are now available for purchase at all good general stores, with royal and noble households having them delivered direct if desired. The catalogues contain contact details for The Trading Company De Fiore as well as starting price guides and acquisition lists.*
Et voila!
One man's trash is another's treasure, and one man's cash buys another's pleasure.

I am Michael Lux, head of the esteemed Lux family and owner of the Golden Light Estates, a diverse property situated in Kandarin's Northmarch. I have kept a close eye on the recent proceedings in Camelot, as should be expected of any noble who has found their lands to suddenly occupy the borders of their nation. And as such, I could not help but notice the return of such a famous name.
As we are neighbors, it is only proper that we work together. I would be interested in buying some grain from your family, for uses in pastry and malt. I would be willing to purchase six-hundred bushels of wheat, at the reasonable price of Twenty-Thousand gold pieces.*
This is a sizable investment, and in return I would ask that your family purchase products from me at a reasonable price. My family's Golden Light Mead and various other products (Beer, propolis, and soon pastries) are top-notch and ought to be hot on the market, yet my family is denied fair participation in trade due the wretched plutocracy of the Kandarin economy. It is my hope that our trade may operate outside the gaze of the meddling Merchant's Guild, and that the Lux family products can be sold without interference.
Best of luck to your business, and may the Grace of Saradomin be with you and the rest of the De Fiore family.
~Michael Lux
*Or just 20 gold, depending on the system. I play a rather proud, low noble in the area, perhaps we can roleplay together?
A reply is swiftly despatched to Michael Lux by way of private courier, sent ahead of a caravan bearing the ordered grain.
Most esteemed Lord,
It is with sincere thanks I pen this reply. Your order has been despatched at once and should be with you before the day is out. It is fortunate not only that your demesne lies so close to Camelot, but that it is situated precisely where it is. Our current offices are not far from your lands; the route between Seershaven and the Northmarch currently lies in Camelite hands and was one of the first areas pacified by the Nationalists.
I must confess to being entirely out of the loop and apologise for not knowing how to properly address you. You mentioned being a noble, though I know not of what rank; please accept my most sincere apologies if I have failed to use the proper title.
Your very reasonable offer of twenty-thousand gold pieces is of course acceptable, and I would ask that you subtract from it the price of fifty-one barrels of your family beer and a further twenty-one bottles of the Golden Light Mead you mentioned. As a vintner one might assume a certain snobbery on my part towards mead but nothing could be further from the truth. I very much enjoy it and look forward to trying yours. Naturally I am purchasing with re-sale in mind, but as the current political situation prohibits Kandar businessmen from certain markets I assume you will not mind. I can only sympathise with your struggles, not only against politics in general but against the Kandar state itself. As a thank-you I will be sure to point any customers of these goods firmly in your direction.
Regarding the Merchant's Guild, I share your sentiments and will gladly keep quiet but if the Guild does come knocking, as an honest businessman I can but answer. I'm sure you understand.
Likewise sir, best of luck to you and the Lux family and fortune, and may Our Lord Saradomin smile upon you.
