Dear colleagues, family, friends, and rivals,
In everyones life, there comes a time where we should analyze our situations to see if what we are doing is either a positive impact or something negative.
Over the course of my time here; I have fought oppressive governments, taught the needy, sought to raise the bar in our education system, and to include all of those willing to learn... or so I thought.
The reality of all of this is that, eventually, the old must give way to the new for the world is owed to them and to them alone. Those of us at my age must provide the role of support as the new minds strive to learn what we old ones cannot in our set ways. With all of that being said, I am with a heavy heart to inform you that I will be taking leave as Archmage to broaden my horizons and to learn more on my own about the world around us that is at stake.
Please be kind to whom I have selected as my replacement, as the new Archmage, Madame Syll Sinn, will be taking the lot of you and the magical community that lives on our celestial body into the bright and uncertain future.
