Name: Count Malimore Maclung

Age: I fear I hath not kept count

Race: Quite human, I assure you

Currently living: For now, ehhhheheheh. I may keel over any day now.

Position Wanted: Apprentice shall suffice

Magical Skill: A little of this, a little of that. I doth trifle in Summoning, with a smeckle of the Standard Spellbook and some incantations

A Little About: I AM COUNT MALIMORE MACLUNG, PATRIARCH OF THE HOUSE MACLUNG! I should also like to learn more about what the young folk refer to as 'Divination', to ease these old bones with the restorative properties I hath heard so much about.

OOC Notes: Count Malimore is a wicked, centuries old sorcerer who has spent the last decade in hiding, waiting for a time when his past deeds were forgotten. There used to be records documenting his many atrocities, but they have been long lost whether by folly or foul-play. He was also once an archwizard of the Wizard's Tower, but that information too seems to have been... Misplaced.
His favorite spell is Siphon, which he has used over the years to slowly drain the life from his family to prolong his own. His ultimate ambition is to reclaim his youth, and thus the dread power of yore with which he once used to terrorize the countryside. With the knowledge he has attained since then, should he become young again it would no doubt result in a catastrophe.

He would make for a fine villain if there be need for a plot.

Name: Edward Moore.

Age: 24.

Race: Human.

Currently living: "An old farmhouse in Lumbridge, I was taking care of my sick mother who has now unfortunately passed."

Position Wanted: Apprentice.

Magical Skill: "I don't have any real magical skill or experience, haven't learned any proper spells, but ever since I was an infant I've had strange magical abilities. I can sometimes move things using just my mind, all I have to do is think and a book can fall off of a shelf. Sometimes if I concentrate really hard I can make a very small flame with my hands, all of this and some more other random things without the use of runestones. I'm not sure why I can do this, and my mother always seemed unsure too. I'm hoping to come to the Tower as an apprentice to learn why I have these abilities, and how I can use them."

A Little About: "I was born in the very house I now live in, on the northern part of Lumbridge, east of the river, my father had died before my birth and my mother never told me much about him. I grew up helping mother with the chickens that we keep and various other chores, teaching me to be a farmer. I have always been able to do various magical things but have never really been able to explain them. I never really had any friends as a child, it seems it was just mother and I versus the world. Mother always said I was given a gift by the gods, and that I had a purpose to do good for the world. Now, my Mother has passed on, taken by illness. With her gone, and nothing else in my life to do, I have decided now to try to become an apprentice at the Wizard's Tower."

OOC Notes: Edward is a shy guy with some pretty bizarre abilities. He likes to think of himself as kind hearted, but growing up very isolated has had some negative effects on his personality, making him very childlike and antisocial. Undoubtedly, he would be a target for much ridicule from other apprentices. Should be interesting...?

The Tower has been put into a state of lock-down by the Archmage. Those attempting to enter the tower without permission will find themselves unable to cross the magical barrier, which begins at the bridge.

A valet would arrive at the Wizard's Tower bearing the crest
of House Remanis. With permission from a wizard, he'd deliver
a letter to Tesla Aren, waiting patiently if he were to send a reply.

Archmage,

As the newly appointed First Minister in the Empire of Misthalin, I'd like to
first extend my sincerest admiration for your remarkable institution. Not a moment
goes by in which I am ungrateful to have been a scion of House Le'Gaunt and a
direct descendant of Master Zaox. With his memory, I cherish so many of his secrets.

Due to recent events and my own hastily appointment to the Imperial Cabinet,
I'd like to visit the Tower at your nearest convenience to ensure we are opening
a sort of dialogue and avoiding engaging in blows before we've even had the chance
to meet. As the minister plenipotentiary in state affairs, I will conduct this visit myself.

Please respond as soon as you can. I very much await our meeting.

With kind regards,

Zaovar Aedus Le'Gaunt,

Count of Hangleton,
First Minister of the
Empire of Misthalin

A terrified courier would rush to the tower to deliver a large poster addressed to the archmage and masters of the tower.

To the so called leaders of the tower magi. I have written this message to let you know of my return. I Ahzek Helbrass have returned and have not forgotten the crimes of this decrepit tower. The Ordo Magi has not been defeated. You will pay for all the magical blood you spilled during your hunting of the Ordo. But now you can rest easy knowing that we will hide no longer.

Beware when you leave your precious tower. The woods are not safe for you. The cities are not safe for you. The abyss is not safe for you. Hide in that tower all you wish, but do so knowing we are already there. From the top of your leadership to your lowly apprentices we are already there. When the time comes your downfall will come from within and without. Once we are done with you it will finally be time to serve justice for the crusades the savages of Relleka pursued.

Yours Truly,
Ahzek Helbrass

The letter is delivered by a member of the Messengers' Guild.

Dear Archmage Aren,

It's been many weeks since we last spoke. If you ask me, it hasn't been long enough. Regrettably, I've been chosen to serve as His Imperial Majesty's Ambassador to the Wizards' Tower. I can only imagine the depths of depravity wizards such as yourself have reached without the firm guidance of righteous sovereignty. Though a thankless post, I'm sworn to do my duty—to shine a torch into the darkness—and mitigate tensions between your deplorable organization and the realms of Emperor Hans Remanis. It's my hope that we can work together to ensure a better, brighter future for the people of Anachronia and Misthalin. You can expect my presence soon. Please have a chamber set aside before I arrive, and for the love of all that is good and holy in this world, control your students!

May Saradomin's azure light illuminate your path,
Rosaline Eloise Haines, Court Mage to his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Hans Remanis of Anachronia and Misthalin.

A hulking, topless woman with hair down to her calves and muscles for days jogged up to the Tower, handing a crude scrap of parchment to the first wizard she saw. The wizard in turn delivered the letter to the Archmage.
It was barely legible, but it would be just possible to discern the following, which had to be spellchecked.

BWARGH! HEARD HAS EARS OF VILLAGE OF GONAD THAT ENEMIES DOES SPARKLY TOWER HAVE! ON BEHALF OF CHIEFTAIN GONAD IS IT WRITTEN THAT IN TIME OF BATTLE, THROW BIG MAGIC ABOVE TREES AND SEEN WILL IT BE. THEN WILL VILLAGE SEND CHIEFTAIN GONAD TO HELP SPARKLY THROWERS IN TIME OF NEED

Below the grammatically offensive writing was a terribly drawn picture of a large figure apparently punching a solid mass of improperly proportioned smaller figures and sending them flying in a comical manner.
“Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.”
