The Kingdom of Asgarnia would receive a letter on Tuesday's dawn, delivered by handsomely-dressed squires on horseback and sent from the West Ardougne keep in the Empire of Kandarin. Stamped and signed by Duke Grayson Galahad, it described a jousting tournament to be held on Friday, March 29th at 6PM CST (7PM EST / 11PM UTC-GMT-Zulu) at the West Ardougne keep.

It seemed he were inviting the White Knights to partake in the jousting tourney! Surely, they had someone worthy enough to send ..

At noon, the rumors have been confirmed. Seren, the goddess of the Elves, has violated our sovereignty by appearing in Burthorpe Castle uninvited. At first glance, she appears to be only accompanied by her Emissary in the west, an elf known as Endwyr. Most concerning of all, Seren has begun to, in no better way to describe it, “sing”. A siren’s call, which has attracted notable political and military figures to her.

Two individuals have been identified so far: Thok, a stocky Fremerrink who currently leads the Daemonheim Expeditions in the ruins east of Forinthry, and the King of Misthalin with minimal escort.

Such a unprecedented move arises so rarely that I have demanded this assessment be expedited to the higher council for immediate consideration in regards to our military and political position.

The townsend is, of course, positioned at the edge of Asgarnian territory and the frontline against the troll menace, making it a perfect staging point for forays into our heartlands and even Falador herself. Further, it has become a critical link in the our supply chain, storing both munitions and vast quantities of food supplies en route to Falador and serving as a resupply station for our army.

The local governing body in Burthorpe seems to still actively support the king. However, Seren’s “persuasion” has been noted in historical documents available in the public domain. Whether either by talent or some supernatural gift, this possibly presents an immediate danger on the loyalty of our own citizens, or worse, our soldiers.

I have made several prior requests for reinforcements against the growing threat here, but they have been denied due to the resources deemed necessary for such efforts. However, these shocking new developments in the region may mean this cannot be ignored anymore.

My recommendation is as follows: Grant the necessary resources to continue monitoring the Goddess’ plans. My contacts are poised to convey detailed information about Seren’s unexplained appearance, the defenses protecting her and other intelligence of value to Asgarnia’s defence. I further request a small strike force. Should this operation be compromised, it may lead to a hasty withdrawal from the region.

I urge immediate action on this matter. The song escalates by the hour, and we must take advantage of every opportunity—especially when the heathen gods are scheming.

Chancellor Willow was present to receive the letter, tending to political matters and paperwork as usual. Reading the front, she flipped it over to inspect the seal for a moment.

"Well, this one looks important at least, let's see what we have here." She murmured as she opened it up, pulling the letter free of the to read the contents. This took her a little longer than usual, being that she only had one arm now, and her assistant was noticeably absent.

The woman read over the letter carefully, pausing afterwards to take a deep breath. She brought the sheet to her forehead and sighed.

"As if we don't have enough to worry about right now... We don't really have the resources to spare, particularly now with the threat of that damn demon. But perhaps we can muster something, at the least..." Willow mused, folding the letter back into it's envelope and stuffing it into her coat. The woman then headed out to deliver the letter, and the news, to King Jeoffrey himself.
