The name 'Sicarius' is a legacy born of tragedy and bathed in blood, the culmination of an ancient witch's extensive pursuit in creating a family that may never betray her and enforcement of her self-perceived visions of truth upon the world. Today they are known for the horrific massacring and destabilization of countless cities and even kingdoms, their numbers few and their bounties high. For over an Age the name and magics had been handled by utterly inhuman personalities content to bastardize the definition of 'family', with their abhorrent treatment of kidnapped inductees leading to their eventual demise at the hand of the curse they appropriated; Executed, and extinct.



The Sicarius legacy has been twisted. The abandoned practices revitalized, the old magics 'pure' again. Jeoffrey Sicarius has superseded the Grandmatriarch Xuksesra, released her from an eternity of undeath and become the Dominus. His newly-revelated blue blood corrupted and perverted by Sicariian ancestry; both denigrating his status and extolling the Sicarius name. He has claimed his blessed birthright of Renderra, earned his control over a Mark that cursed him, and re-entered lawful society with a curious balance of the two held firmly in his fists. Now, the Sicarius are more than just a criminal faction that terrorized the world, they are redeemed. They are unmasked.

They are nobility, blackened and bloodied as they are.

Welcome to the Sicarius! This group is unaffiliated with the clan "The Sicarius" and has no functional connections to its players or storyline. The premise of this group is creating a stress-free roleplay environment where one can enjoy all the different themes of a compromised noble household within the Kingdom of Asgarnia, be it as a prim-and-proper noble seeking recognition and glory above the table, or a dark and hardened criminal beneath it, reminiscent of the Sicarius of old. Our group will be operating under a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment. If you're unable to keep your thoughts to yourself, or can't refrain from pressuring other members of this roleplay group OOC, you won't be welcome. This is not a place for things to fester any further.

IC Prejudice is considered non-canon. Throughout my 14 years of playing RuneScape, never once have I seen any lore where racism, general sexism, homophobia OR transphobia exists. As such, all references to these things in-character (not strictly limited to interations, either. Racist stereotypes will also be ignored,) ranging from clearly prejudicial enslavement to flippantly/aggressively referring to someone based on the color of their skin or their gender, will be scolded and should the guilty party not cooperate, they will additionally be removed from the scene. Honestly, guys. Asgarnia is home to a makeover mage providing gender-swaps for over a decade, this type of prejudice stuff does not belong in RuneScape. The Sicarius |

Renderra Ravens
The de-facto thread for all Renderra activities, this thread is hosted by Nat and serves to focus around a Guthixian family that spans internationally. The Renderra are widely known to be heroic and of sound judgement, however there are always those black sheep which leave some questioning what's going on behind the veil...

Marked for Triumph
This is a roleplay tied to the Legacy of Zamorak overarching plot, as it is released in pieces over the next six months. It will involve various Zamorakian factions, and old, old deeplore from antagonists over ten years old, the Marcato Coven. This roleplay will involve new lore drops, adapt as the story unfolds, but ultimately take its own form, allowing characters a way to direct involvement at an aspect of Legacy of Zamorak.

The Marcato Coven
This specific roleplay is one that's full of witchcraft and magic, based in the runescape setting. This specific group of witches has very, very loose and old ties to the Renderra Family, the Aren Family, and the Amore Coven, none of which bare oppressive and unroleplayable influence over the Marcato Coven on an OOC or IC level.

Characters who wish to join are encouraged to submit an in-character letter here on the forums, to the Dominus, stating their name, interest in becoming an affiliate of the Sicarius banner, faith, and experience. If you are familiar with letters of intent then this is essentially a short version of such a letter.

After the letter is received and read a date and time will be organized for an introduction roleplay. There are two potential forms of acceptance - Affiliation with this faction (including welcome into its surface-level operations), and incorporation into the family itself through ritual, whereupon the chosen character may take the name Sicarius and receive a wealth of boons.

Additionally, either before or after the letter (or if the need for a letter was bypassed through natural in-game interactions), please fill out this form so I can add your name and character to the census. Not all information will be listed on the census, but it’s good to have.

Consequences of Affiliation

Public affiliation with the Sicarius name is indisputably a life-altering decision, and will carry several different sociopolitical impacts as well as rewards along with it. While individual experiences may vary, there are several common affects to one's social life that will be described below.

Boons of Affiliation


• Protection from criminal organizations; Thieves, muggers, thugs and other factions will hesitate to antagonize you in fear of retaliation. They may instead seek your involvement or connections.

• Discounts and special privileges with armories; Weapons and armors will likely come significantly cheaper out of respect for the organization, and hopes for further business with other affiliates or the family itself.

• Buffs to intimidation, extortion and bribery; Levying threats and implications of misfortune upon public officials, businesses or law enforcement could see a beneficial outcome at the cost of one's moral integrity.

Banes of Affiliation


• Harsh scrutiny from law enforcement; Guards and knights are less likely to believe you an innocent party in relevant investigations, and may attempt to extort you in kind if not outright charge you.

• Lower approval ratings; Civilians and higher-class nobility will likely look down upon you and attempt to discredit you. Fewer votes of confidence and greater difficulty maintaining positions of power.

• Possible refusal of service; Good-natured businesses may refuse to serve or upcharge you for your patronage, as well as close off discounts and bundle offers that may be available to others. The Sicarius |
