How Do I Run My Own Event?

Otherworld is a story-driven/sandbox mash-up RP, which means that while there is an overlying plot, the main focus is on what is going on in the world as a whole. Realistically, that means there is probably more than one story going on at once! However, to run your own little adventure, we have a few guidelines the Council would like you to follow.

1. We would appreciate if you come to us Council-folk first off with any event ideas you wish to run!

2. This will include giving us the plot/details, any rewards that will come from it, the amount of and severity of the combat involved, the location of the event, how many people you need to run it, and how many events in the line it will have (maximum of 3), etc.

3. The event cannot interfere with the overarching plot, or introduce major plot details related to said plot. Meaning that you cannot run anything with NPCs from the overarching plot, or further that plot in any way shape or form, that is something reserved to the GMs.

4. You need a character in the RP to GM your own event-line, this may seem a trivial rule but you'd be surprised.

5. To reiterate, the maximum amount of events a non-overaching plotline event series can have is three, save for if the third event gets cut in half due to a pause. Though, try to avoid that at all costs. (In the event some unforeseen circumstance will require a fourth event, take it up with a Council member).
Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?

"Hello There."
