they are being treated poorly there reaction to it is justified. im sure you wont be happy if this happened to you in your job

and no they cant rescind a job for any reason, there are laws to protect you from that.

so because the world works in this way, people should lay back and do nothing and just accept it? instead of fighting to make the world better place?

as a person i am tired of hearing this issue over and over no matter what i turn on aka the radio tv... the internet.. i say stop complaining about being fired and move on,, elon can do what ever he wants he has the gold and those with the gold can make the golden rules,,

dont like the golden rules? go out make the gold and make your own rules till then for god sake give us all a break move on and good luck in life

Employment law differs greatly in the UK compared to the USA. Musk would not get away with the same action here. It's just a shame those across the Atlantic cannot enjoy the same protections and rights to basic dignity. They shouldn't have to "just accept it". Low on bank space? Click here .

I'm sure I read that when Mr Thorleifsson sold his company to Twitter it was in the contract that they employ him. I cannot remember where I saw that and I might be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me that Musk would ignore any contractual obligations.

i would hate to have your outlook on life, it sounds miserable. you seem to be in awe of someone with a lot of money and are happy for them to get away with acting horribly, and justify it with "well they are rich"
hell no im not going to lie down and take that, thats a terrible way for society to be. it looks like you are okay with that?

and in the EU. im pretty sure he was in a lot trouble for doing some stuff in the EU

i have read your responses and i have to ask myself are you all living in a delusional world?

i dont care which country is effected by the decision Elon made.. this is crazy to think you believe that people should forced to keep bad employees or even good employees..

if i had a company and i hired some one and they were not fulfilling the role i want them to do.. why would i keep them,, there is no country in the world that can force me to spend my money on a employee in my company,, it does not matter where you live ,,, and if a country decided they could force me to do so i would close the company in that country and go to another... and to be brutally honest i pray Elon does that ,,, he closes down any part of the twitter company in that country that is effecting his company....in the real world,,, socialism has no place in business,,

working for a company is a contract,, company will pay worker for doing "x" work,, if employee fails in any way even by the whims of the boss,,, then the contract is voided,,, the employee is removed from the job site end of story ,,, company replaces bad worker with a better worker and the company goes on,, as for the well being of the employee, i dont care about them,, ask your self ,,, would you care or do any thing if i got fired today? would you pay me ? no you wouldn't even think about me,,, so,, if the employee did thier job they would not have been fired,, and they would still have a job,

this thread is about more then just 1 employee and here are some examples of it
