That would be quite interesting to see. Technology has become quite advanced during my lifetime as well, perhaps there will be quantum computers in every household.
I've been contemplating this thread on and off for a while. All manner of things have sprung to mind; from making the Enola Gay crash-land at sea before she reached her target, to ensuring myself winning a huge sum on the Lottery - and many other things as well.
its interesting that almost everyone wants to go back in time instead of forward. there are a lot of absolutely horrific things in our past that i can totally understand why people would want to change them
I'd like to slip into an alternate dimension, instead of time travel. Slip into a dimension where I chose to get good grades and a scholarship, where I chose a different career, or maybe decided not to do that stupid thing.

Having had more time to think about it, there is an event that occurred in 1986-87ish (I'd have to find the exact date) in England that I would go back and prevent from happening.
