Does the time travel move relative to the bodies currently surrounding it? Or do you need to know where those bodies would be if you traveled forward/backward in time?

Wouldn't want to end up in the middle of nowhere.
This is a good question actually, because with the universe constantly expanding, does this mean if you travel back in time, the place you are would not be the same place you were, because it's at a different point in space-time? Hmmm...

I would go back to October 1988 and get a second opinion from another dermatologist.
Sorry Tox. I don't know what sad time came from that decision but I just hope you're okay now.
OT - I would like to see the future. The past is too tricky to traverse safely and you couldn't depend on any solid outcome. Besides the fact, that if it were possible to travel to the past you most likely would just be creating an alternate universe and the universe you came from was left to it's inevitable fate.
Also if people could come forward into the future, they would have lessons to impart as well.

Yeah this is something that I think people don't take into account. IF backwards time travel were ever possible, it would be within these rules. So you're not really changing the past, that's just how THAT particular universe/timeline always went - you're just in another timeline from the one you started in.

I assume time travel would also require the computer used for the time travel to also know the exact coordinates in space you want to time travel to, don't want to go back in time and then you're in space because earth was in a different part of its orbit in the time you wanted to travel to.
