I would go back to June 29 ~ July 1, 1937, arriving at Lae, New Guinea, to tell Amelia Earhart that she and her team should re-calculate their data (fuel, engine, altitude) about the flight to Howland, re-check all equipment, and re-schedule the route.

I would go back and observe. I would not change anything, for fear of altering every thing. Time Travel is a very slippery slope, one small change in the past could have catastrophic changes in the future. Sound of Thunder any one. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.
