I watched a great horror/comedy last night:
Grabbers
(2012)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1525366

A really original story and very, very funny.

I decided to give
Wednesday
another try as I wasn't over impressed with the first episode.
Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it last wee because I really enjoyed it :P

The episodes directed by del Toro are a lot better than the last four but it's worth sticking with.

Yeah, glad I decided to have another shot at it.
It's going to give Jenna Ortega's career a massive boost, she's excellent.

There's lots of great little references to the old TV show, some very subtle.

In the scene where she's dancing at the school prom, for just one short moment she copies the "Wednesday Dance" from the sixties show:

She is indeed. Really makes the role her own.

And some other easter eggs as well - for instance the names of the writers appear on the list of businesses by the door to the psychologist's office building, playing 'Paint It Black' on the cello, and so on. Also that her nemesis is Bianca, meaning 'white'.

I watched a film called
The Little Things
2021 starring Denzel Washington and Rami Malek ( he was Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody ). It kept me wondering what the main character's ( Denzel ) secret was until near the end. I'm glad I watched it, it kept me entertained while I was playing RS.
edit to add: I'm watching
Miracle on 34th Street
on the TV at the moment ^_^

I watched a movie again called
Mud
2012 starring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon. If you haven't seen it I recommend it. I gave it 8/10 on IMDb the first time I saw it.

I'll look out for that one, it's got some great reviews.

I started watching
Pepsi, Where's My Jet?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt23022276

A bizarre but brilliant story of a kid who took on Pepsi in a legal battle when they advertised a chance to own a Harrier Jet in a promotion, thinking nobody would ever be able to achieve it.

To help me get in the Christmas mood I watched
A Muppet Christmas Carol
with Michael Caine as Scrooge. I used to watch it with my sons every year in the run up to Christmas. Its not quite the same without them now they live many miles away in homes of their own but it still makes me smile.
