It's a while since I watched
IT
so I'm doing a double bill over the next few days, might even extend it to a few more Stephen King adaptations.

I really liked the book, but when it comes to the motion pictures it has been done a lot both in mini-series and movies.

Personally I liked
IT (1990)
mini-series with Richard Thomas from the Waltons playing Bill.

Yeah the older version had a lot going for it, Tim Curry was great as Pennywise, though in my opinion Bill Skarsgård is a lot scarier.

I watched the second instalment last night, I'd forgotten how gory it is.
I loved the casting for the grown up versions of the main characters.

The internet was down for several hours today ( came back about 30 minutes ago ) so I watched some DVDs including
Ocean's Eleven
and
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
. I decided I probably wouldn't watch them again so I will give them to a charity shop.

Finally, after many years of constantly telling myself I'd see it, I got around to watching the classic fantasy
Willow
- mainly because there's a new sequel series based on it (with various members of the original cast returning!) in production and I want to have some idea of what's going on!

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
is one of those movies that will live on forever imo.

Its better than
Cool Hand Luke
... But dont quote me on that.

We've had the DVDs for years and I'd watched them a few times. Sometimes I need to make space for new films. I'm waiting for some of the recent releases to come down in price.

I watched an old favourite that I never tire of last night:
Serenity

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379786

Perfect writing and directing by Joss Whedon.

There's a new Predator film (yes, another one) on Disney + as of today and it's suppoised to be really good, so that's tonight's movie sorted... then I have some episodes of
Better Call Saul
to catch up on.

I like
Serenity
too. Seeing it mentioned has made me want to watch it so that's tomorrow's film sorted.

I watched
Mission to Mars
2010. Its another of the DVD's we've had for years. I had thought I'd give it to charity but I enjoyed it so much its going back in the collection. :)
