Americans choose to go into debt to fund there life style instead of saving money aka building wealth in there mid 25s-30s-40s . because of poor life choices like having a lot of kids when ur not making any money.
its simple math , 250k-800k saved/invested by the time ur 45 can grow into millions from compound interest alone . u could retire early , u pay no tax on capital gains if u withdraw under 40k a year .
countless stories of people spending 50-60% of there take home pay on rent/mortgage/cars/credit cards before living expenses. since most American households take home less then 50k a year ur gunna struggle .
if u own ur own home/car that's a extra 13-20k a year u can save

The tax rate doesn't increase until you make over 250k (in comparison to current rates). And let's be real, you clearly aren't making more than 250k.
