@ NexOrigin: I assure you that JMods, FMods, and LMods alike are here to maintain the forums as a constructive place for discussion on all kinds of topics. Yes, Joel has provided a clear opinion of his own on the topic of this thread, but that doesn't mean he's incapable of performing the duties he's been doing for years.

If you do perceive there to be a problem, please voice it officially on the Forum Moderation Review thread, as that's the place for such grievances, not on the threads themselves where discussions take place. As it stands, your last post is veering off-topic and discussing your fellow forumers rather than the topic at hand. Please stay on-topic in the future, and feel free to voice your concerns in the appropriate places, which you are completely aware of. Thanks.

great, a 28 day lockdown after boxing day, reason for not being sooner before people travel for xmas is translated to; "
We want everyone to travel and shop in order to spend their money before they die as we know cases will spike over this(common sense).
"

I'm so happy how ship shape our systems are, we let the monkeys run the entire country and we pay the price for listening to there bad choices.....I think we need doctors in the house seats for the remainder of this pandemic.

Yeah, it's part of their plan to have people spend their savings to somehow boost the economy... while at the same time, keeping them on lockdown... I mentioned this earlier:

So, she wants to encourage Canadians to take any money they've saved up, and use it to prop up the economy through tourism?

Because, nothing says "pandemic" like telling everyone to take their savings and spend it on a vacation.

There is no actual "health and safety" concern being addressed here. You don't encourage "tourism" and "holiday spending" while at the same time claiming that everyone needs to be on lockdown. It's absurd.

But, you take my word for this, you keep an eye out for which businesses are then exempt from these lockdown restrictions. I guarantee you, most small businesses and family restaurants will probably be shut down, but large corporations like Walmart and McDonalds will remain open.

But hey, what do I know? I'm just some crazy conspiracy theorists I guess... >_>

Strange, the graph stops just before this happened.

So what you're saying is that the mask mandate didn't work in Sweden either?

That is strange. I thought mask mandates worked? Isn't that what all the media and politicians have been telling us? Wear a mask, stop the spread?

Yet, here you are, presenting evidence that masks don't seem to work...

Sweden literally only just introduced a mask mandate on public transport. The point of the case chart is to present people with the full picture, not one which is cropped where the story sees fit. Anyway, carry on, good luck.
Thanks for presenting the full picture.

If you hadn't, some people may have mistakenly believed that the mask mandates had worked in Sweden, when in fact they didn't, so I appreciate you taking the time to ensure everyone was informed and presenting the full picture.

Just so everyone is clear, the national mask mandate didn't only fail in the Czech Republic, but it also failed in Sweden, as Miles Prower has just clarified.

Thanks again! :)
