Apparently one of my joinery teachers tested positive for covid despite showing no symptoms, so we all have to self-isolate for 2 weeks.

I'm getting sick of all this. Why is it that no one seems to have died from anything else since March?

I'm not trying to be insensitive but it's pretty normal to die at that age anyway. The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.

There's some crazy conspiracy theories going around about the vaccine - my favourite is the one where "they" inject you with some sort of tracking/monitoring device. Big Brother at his finest :D

Anyway, I suspect I'll fall into one of the groups in the UK which will get the vaccine before the general population so I'll let you all know as and when I grow a spare head or start to glow in the dark.

The vaccine will come to NZ in the first quarter of next year. 700k injections. Apparently the injections need to be frozen in sub zero temperatures :O and if I read it right they need to keep it at that temperature right up until giving it to the patient, so not sure how they will administer it or thaw it...
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!
