Well what a f'ing shambles this country is in.

After all this time, after all the Millions of pounds spent - wasted - on 'kits' that don't work and PPE that was unusable and 'World Beating Track & Trace' that doesn't work .... Bojo's henchmen have finally admitted there just ain't enough test kits to go around and not enough places to get them checked anyway.

The general public have virtually no access to Covid testing, even if you've got all the symptoms. Instead, they're going to close the Pubs at 10pm (instead of 11pm). Well ....
whoopee-fucking-do - I'm sure that'll make all the difference in the world.

Even the 5 "priority" groups have limited access to testing.

I can hazard a guess lol...

I can't believe it honestly. I lined up a few weeks ago for an hour, got a test and received the result in 22 hours online. Highly efficient. Not sure about other areas of Canada but Ontario (at least Toronto) is nailing testing to be fair.

It'll be awesome when rapid tests become available too.

But as far as UK goes so far, not great :(

I sense this is only the beginning of a very bumpy ride for the UK. Decisions are going to be made with consideration of health, jobs and livelihoods. Going by the credible reality that is the past 6 months I can't say I am overly optimistic. Another national 'lockdown' is coming and yet I, along with many others, can't help but think: "It didn't have to be this way." Low on bank space? Click here .

The school half term would be my bet to be part of a lockdown.
The increase of infection rate was predictable because, although most people behave sensibly, there will always be some who only think of themselves and go around as if there is no pandemic. I know of someone who broke the original lockdown after the first couple of weeks by going to see his friends every evening. What makes it worse is that he has a family member who works in an old people's care home.

Although its true most people will survive the illness I've read various reports about thousands of people suffering from fatigue and other symptoms for weeks or even months after "recovering" from Covid. Its been given the name "long covid".

Boris has the answer, the long awaited cure for Covid.... the pubs will close an hour earlier!
The man is a medical genius.

Sigh. Too little too late.
