The school half term would be my bet to be part of a lockdown.
The increase of infection rate was predictable because, although most people behave sensibly, there will always be some who only think of themselves and go around as if there is no pandemic. I know of someone who broke the original lockdown after the first couple of weeks by going to see his friends
every
evening. What makes it worse is that he has a family member who works in an old people's care home.
Although its true most people will survive the illness I've read various reports about thousands of people suffering from fatigue and other symptoms for weeks or even months after "recovering" from Covid. Its been given the name "long covid".
