People are 'born' to die, nothing can change that.
How much time is given between your birth and the day you die, is up to how your life is given shape by your parents and yourself. How someone will die is entirely dependend on a lot of factors. Living a good healthy life is one of them.

^This happening when thousands are dying a day in America; I can't get over the selfishness of these people. Thousands of people are dying from car crashes every day. Yet, all those selfish people driving cars and putting people at risk... the nerve of those people!

I hope you do realize that once a baby is born it is born in a hostile environment of bacteria & virusses, and born with bacteria & virusses inside a human body, ready to survive a difficult road ahead.
Living a well balanced life, most humans survive many health attacks and growing up learning more how to positively influence your own life makes a person to grow old without issues.
Taking care of your own and your own family, helping each other to do the good things in life and learn to reject all the bad stuff, it will help even in things like covid-19.
There's nobody else more to blame then ones self if things turn bad.
What has a person gained by being saved from death, saved from dying of covid-19?
A future living day by day being scared of 'will I survive this day or not'?
Can I breath enough to find enough strength to survive another hour?
For people, who are saved by the medical world of doctors & professors, doctors & professors cheering and jumping saying how good they are, for people who are saved for the sake of to be misused for such cheers, without having a moment to say 'please let me die' I do symphatize the most knowing they have ended up in a worst case scenario they can't escape from.
