No, the article is not accurate, at least in the ways that matter the most. Would you trust a leaflet through your door giving you medical/vaccine advice from a construction company or someone who sells clothing? I'd be worried if you said yes... so this should be treated the same. It's advice or opinion from a person who has absolutely ZERO education or profession in anything close to the medical field.
"- If I get vaccinated will I be resistant to Covid?
Maybe. We don't know exactly, but probably not."
This is dangerously misleading. If you're vaccinated (and if others around you are vaccinated), you have an extremely good chance of either not contracting Covid at all or contracting it but with such a low viral load that you either develop minimal symptoms or even absolutely no symptoms at all, with these findings coming out of actual medical studies, not the opinion of a solicitor...
"- If I get vaccinated, at least I won't be contagious to others - right?
No, the vaccine doesn't stop transmission."
Again, this is really misleading since there are indications that it does help reduce transmission since anyone who is vaccinated would likely not only develop less or no symptoms but the vaccines also aim to lower viral loads, helping with the rate of transmission. So again, a flat out 'No' answer to this is incorrect.
^Since they are still in trial stages they don't know how effective the Covid vaccine is.going to be; only time will tell.
The article is truthful, it's just the way it's worded, the article is stating everything you are saying about the vaccine Joel just in a different way.
The more people get vaccinated the more we will know about the vaccine and how accurate the vaccine is <- my words, not the articles.
*It's not a pamphlet, it's a 46 page magazine; just letting you know.

Yeah, worded in a way in which is either misleading or close to being flat out false in parts. I've just given you two examples of that.
To say they just don't know how effective these vaccines are is not correct. Sure, as time goes on, we see more variants etc etc we'll learn and know more but based on trials and the studies so far (and it's real application in the real world) the results are extremely positive. So to wrap that up as "they don't know" is misleading and false.
Again, do not get your news or medical advice from a solicitor... I don't even know why I need to keep re-iterating that lol... In the same way I would never tell you to visit a a web developer to fix your car...
I dug out this link for a news item from February this year. Its about how effective vaccines are in preventing transmission.

I would heed the advice of a well-respected epidemiologist rather than a barrister about the efficacy of the COVID vaccines.

I forgot to say that they do help reduce transmission.
In the US, the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines have been out of trial for 4 to 6 months depending on which vaccine we are discussing.
The extensive vaccination programs in the US did not start until the vaccines were out of trial.
How old was the article claiming the vaccines are still in trial.
