Health Minister Greg Hunt ... isn't even a Doctor I'm quite sure.
" attended Yale University as a Fulbright Scholar, where he obtained a Master of Arts in International Relations. "
We're just told to lap up whatever he spits out & he has NO medical training.
I assume he has advisors that are medically qualified.
Someone like Dr. Fauci? lol
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great!
^ Is that a sarcastic remark? Or pointing out that Fauci does actually have an extensive history in the medical field, more specifically infectious diseases and has for many decades?

Yeah, sure, it totally seems like he has decades of extensive experience with infectious diseases... I mean, no masks... masks... double masks... not double masks... at least his opinion is consistent though, right? Trust the science!
lol.

One is a religious leader and his wife who I don't care for, his/her views and greed disgusts me the other man a television and radio broadcaster they both left Auckland the night before level 3 lockdown took effect. It's been 9 days and it's still getting coverage
Even though I don't like one of them (a couple) as a person, the other I don't always agree with, I don't blame them for taking of to another area of the country to enjoy a relatively Covid free life. If you've got the money and the can do why not??
New Zealand's gotta get over it. I bet a lot of non public Auckland citizens did the same thing. If it was such a concern they should have put the lockdown in place immediately rather than give a day or two notice.

I feel more to and fro debating coming on ...
We've been over this before with regards to his advice early on, not wasting my time getting into that again.
The topic of credentials or a person being qualified came up - Fauci has credentials and a long history in this field. That is undeniable and since you mentioned his name, I thought it appropriate to point that out
Its easy for people to pull snippets of the things people say across a period of time and point out differences, however big or small. I could probably do the same with remarks you've made in this thread since last year, probably even myself as well, because we're human, we're not robots preprogrammed to say exactly the same thing, in the same way 100% of the time. Different situations have different contexts, different phrasing/angles of questions that would differ the answer given.

I get so annoyed by people wearing masks "wrong" that I am sometimes tempted to put another mask over my eyes. Even Fauci didnt think of that.
I walked past a guy today on a walk that had a slim mask that covered only his nose and left his mouth exposed!
Because covid is all over the planet now, here's a joke that will cheer everyone up.
My kindergarten teacher made up some fake, weird virus. Being only 5 I thought I was going to die because as she was explaining the "symptoms" in class one day, I was already shaking from fear of not waking up tomorrow. One of the main causes for the plague included eating too much candy. By the time this "disease" cleared, the teacher almost lost her job due to parents complaining about why their children are taking so many sicks days.
I miss kindergarten
