Ebola did not travel the globe.
Ebola killed less than 5,000 people in 2020.

Not in the same league, really, hmmm?

Still yet to see the mass graves like CNN showed with Ebola in Africa for Covid.

Mmmkay.

The only "mass graves" videos I saw were coming out of China very early on, but being quickly removed from the internet.

As for the Ebola numbers, there were more deaths than survivors.

Sure, the "less than 5000 deaths" sounds low... but, out of the total 3,481 cases, only 1,162 people survived, and 2299 of them died.

Twice as many people died from Ebola than the number of people who survived it.

Yes?

It's acknowledged to be a very virulent disease with a high mortality rate and given that most outbreaks occur in what are regarded as third world areas which most likely have less than optimum health facilities and most outbreaks occur in remote areas - by the time an infected person reaches medical aid they're severely compromised anyway.

For instance, the highest number of outbreaks since 1976 are in the Congo - the second poorest country in the world.

It's far more difficult to catch Ebola because of it's transmission system.

So .... in a different league, not the same at all. Not sure what point you were trying to make and where you were attempting to go with your post.

^ that comment relates to both persons on this page commenting about Ebola (excluding myself).

If your claim is that the death rate high because most cases are in "poor countries", I think I would disagree.

It's not unexpected that the almost all the outbreaks are traced back to the Congo, near the Ebola River, from which the virus was named. That's where this particular virus lives and originates from.

I don't know that I'd agree with "more difficult". I mean, I thought you could stop the spread of covid with a mask?

You can't stop Ebola with a mask. If you have Ebola, even your sweat is contagious. And if you die, your body is just as contagious as when you were alive.

Check out the burial differences between covid bodies and Ebola bodies:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/global-covid-19/COVID19vsEbola-burial-guide.pdf

You can see how much more strict the guidelines are with Ebola than with covid.

How about another decade of people going broke & having to accept shit jobs all due to 50 people dying in the state I live in?

Day 3650, Covid still remains active, stay inside ..... perhaps in another twenty years you'll be allowed out again.

You want a vaccine passport so I can enter the local shops & buy food?

Fuck you, I'll just eat adults that continue to sprout this crap instead.

We can always make new people.

I still have no idea why you're going on about Ebola ..... Nex.

It's nothing like Covid - what actually is your point? What is it you are trying to convey?

I'm also not going to deign to respond to the points you are trying to make about Ebola because I don't know what your point is.

Don't fear monger, there are no plans to keep instituting lockdowns for non-health reasons... or is there?
