For me, more irritating than the business of wearing it are:
A) Have I got it on right?

Might be a good thing if you don't, breathing in too much carbon dioxide isn't a good thing.

So his results are taken from inside a hospital that continuously clean & has an ongoing air filtration system in place.

What about those that work in hospitality, ie your local Mc Donalds that has oil fryers going, those that work or outside with whatever the wind stirs up, do you not think the masks absorbs whatever is in the air?

Ever been on a construction site & a labourer is working the broom?

I would imagine wearing a mask while scuba-diving is counterproductive too.
Whats your point?

I think you should keep moving the goalposts as hard as fast as possible.
I'm curious just how far from the subject you can get without anyone noticing.
Its working great so far.

@Inspire you,

You've made your 'anti-mask' point quite enough. The advice and in many cases the law is to wear a mask/face covering indoors, in enclosed spaces and in areas where you cannot socially distance.

A simple thing like wearing a mask (if you're not medically exempt) and social distancing right now is the one defence we have in order to minimize spread and to try and minimize the risk of entering more strict lockdowns. I know you care very little about other people, especially the most vulnerable, but luckily you're not in a position of power and don't seem to be the majority opinion on the matter.

The reality right now for many places is that this is law - so you posting here advising otherwise is essentially encouraging others to not only be as selfish as you but to also put others at risk and to break the law, so consider this a warning to refrain from posting 'anti-mask' comments from here on out.

Thanks
Joel

Inspire you,

If it isn't the law where you are, that's fine. But do not come here and discourage others to go against wide-spread public health guidelines and mandates to wear a mask or face-covering through once again fear mongering, which I've warned you for previously.

In regards to your second remark, this thread is for general discussions on the things stated in the title, not specifically just masks and your anti-mask agenda. So no, this thread doesn't need to be closed simply because your ability to try and fear-monger is being taken away.

May I remind you to head over to FMR if you wish to question the decisions of an FMod.

Thanks.
Joel

I've just got some new masks. I was using some cheap and nasty mask that I felt wasn't upto the job. It was still legal in a mask sense but healthwise I just felt it was lacking in that department. I suppose thats what you get buying cheap mass made rubbish from a certain Country.

I now have quality branded masks I paid a good bit for as they also come with filters. They can be washed which is good. The filters are good but I won't use them for single shoping trips. That would be a waste.

They have also got very nice pattens which not only look good but make me look good too.

When masks are no longer needed which by the looks of it it won't be till 2021-ish I'll still be wearing mine when I goto the shops. I just feel now it's part of my daily thing to do.

Masks save lives.
