If you're just going to say "google it" when I ask for a citation, don't expect anything more from me when you ask for a citation. I'm just going to say "google it".
I just wanted to know what citation you wanted specifically as all I did was reference how cell phone data was being used to see how many people were staying at home/moving around. It was carried on most of media outlets a few weeks back and prior to Christmas. You want citation of the data or the news articles?
You're welcome to read up about it in more detail, should you want to. All it was about was how based on the data, it was showing people were Covid-fatigued and listening less to health measures, January did change though.
In regards to your giant leap - you tried to suggest the powers that be could issue widespread backend Covid testing simply because such a test exists in the world and its technically possibly. Something being possible doesn't mean its likely for imminent or something we should certainly be alarmed about.
You asked at what point would I deem widespread population testing as justified. I answered you. I said I wouldn't support that given there's many things you could do before ever getting to that as a consideration (such as lockdowns, which have proven to work)
In terms of curfews, not sure where I sit on that, if there's evidence to suggest it could help, sure. And if it did help prevent people gathering etc sure, but not to just issue it willy nilly.
So we're clear right, there's no imminent danger of being forced to get your bum checked for Covid, whether it be once or regularly? So need for it to be discussed or be alarmed by it? lol
And also, the wearing of masks after vaccines have been widely been rolled out - lets just see later this year what happens rather than getting concerned about it now.

If there’s reason to believe (with data backing it up) people are more likely to gather in homes during the evening after work and that was potentially contributing to the spread, then maybe that formed part of their decision to implement a curfew. Why didn’t Ontario? If there was a higher plan to control us? Ontario didn’t because as I mentioned, indicators have shown that people here are now listening and staying home, rendering the need for an enforceable curfew unnecessary.
Do you have any citations for that data
?
I'm assuming since you're using the data as the basis for your point, that you actually looked the data up, or at the very least, checked to make sure the articles you were reading were citing the data. Obviously you're not going to base an opinion on something you haven't verified, right? You checked what the "indicators have shown"?
Just cite me where you're getting the data from.
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great!

You're going in circles. You don't need to keep contesting the same point over and over again. I've explained what my reasons were, and what they were based on. I also said that it was "a bit of a joke, but it's based entirely on current facts". You disagree, that's fine. You don't have to agree with everything I say, just as I don't have to agree with everything you say. But now you're just going in circles, beating the same dead horse over and over...
Can you just agree to disagree on it already? Why do I have to keep explaining my reasoning over and over, simply because you disagree?
You're being a bigot at this point. It's one thing to disagree with someone, it's another thing to be intolerant.
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great!

You know, it's funny, since we're on the topic of the backside swabs, I notice that there really hasn't been much discussion anywhere about the transmission of the virus through plumbing systems.
Should my toilet wear a mask? Should the toilets in public washrooms be wearing masks?
I ask facetiously, because no one would actually do that, would they?
Unless... you know... there was actually a chance that the virus could be using the plumbing systems as a method of hiding and waiting for unsuspecting people to jump out and infect. Is there?
Original message details are unavailable.
Structurally, there are concerns that the built environment can exacerbate transmission. Defects in the water plumbing systems have been identified as a possible method of transmission during a 2003 study of a Hong Kong housing block with 342 confirmed SARS cases, and 42 deaths. Virus laden droplets created airborne transmission in empty U-bends in washrooms, which was aided by bathroom extract ventilation. High concentrations of infected people lead to a higher viral load which leads to a higher risk of disease spread. The interconnectedness of such systems coupled with self-isolation could also increase the risk of spread
