I'm more concerned about this 12 weeks delay between getting 1st jab and 2nd jab which is being implemented here. The makers of the vaccine say the gap should be 21 days. Scientists are saying it should be about 21 days. No other country in the world (that I'm aware of) is advocating more than 21 days.

They are listening to the science though. Just ignoring what they hear!

I can understand the thinking behind vaccinating more people with lower efficacy; the problem is the data is not there to back up the risk. It really wouldn't surprise me if this was not the first thought, but a ploy to inflate the numbers of people vaccinated. Moving the goalposts with little evidence is one of the reasons Average Joe can develop scepticism at a time we do not need it.

They've been moving the goalpost for the entire year. At some point, even the slowest of the Average Joes will eventually take notice. Until enough people step up to say "hey, this isn't right", they're going to keep moving the goalposts to ensure that they can maintain the power they've managed to acquire.

I don't actually believe it is a power grab of any sort. This is because so many other countries are doing the same thing as the UK with lockdowns, facemasks, furloughs, school closures and the like - to one extent or another.

I cannot find it within my scope of belief that so many diverse countries could, or would, be capable in working in collusion to achieve ... what, exactly?

That's the other thing. Apart from so many Govts agreeing to this what on earth would the collective agenda for doing it actually be?

Nor do I believe that any non-Communist government would believe that their populations, in the end, would not have simply had enough and tell them to fuck off. And have a swift Civil War which would be massively detrimental to whatever mysterious reason the powers that be were hoping to obtain (absolute obedience of a cowed population?)

I don't believe there is any sort of mass or minor conspiracy going on. I do believe that a bad situation has been mismanaged by bungling buffoons, possibly in part deliberately to give them time to line their own coffers, but there is nothing that suggests to me that it's a global cabal.

Sorry but it's late here and you're being too obscure for me.

Please spell it out in words of one syllable as one would explain photosynthesis to a toddler because my brain has about as much reasoning power as a plate of scrambled egg at the moment. Partly because I am thick and partly because I am fuzzed on pain meds. Cheers.

Oh, and because I cba right now to wade through that agenda. It's huge.

Edit:

Actually, after thinking about it .... no don't explain. It's overtly political and we are no longer permitted to discuss such matters.

Something Ive noticed where I live is a decent minority of people wearing their masks wrong.
Like with their nose out?

I cant help wondering why. Surely you would be better off with no mask at all?
'Mask worn wrong' seems like the worst possible option.

Honestly it's like poking holes in condoms and expecting them to work.

That's a good analogy.

I still see it in my country people wearing masks with their noses sticking out O_o

The woman I mentioned earlier about traveling around parts of NZ with Covid, did do everything right, was not to blame. They believe she picked it up from a person staying at the same isolation hotel as her. They say it's the African variant.

The authorities are now figuring out how she became infected. Her husband has not, to date, pickled up the virus, which makes the authorities believe there is a big possiblity she won't spread the disease. Which is a great sign.
