I am yet to have a vaccine. In my 20's with no underlying health conditions. People like me are probably right at the back of the list here in the UK.

Wasn't planning on getting the jab, it was a definite no from me, then I got an email, I had a two day window to get it done; and I just thought why not. Second jab has already been booked. Which vaccine did you get?

My daughter is fully vaccinated and happy she is. She is a pre-school teacher and one of the few vaccinated teachers at her school. One of the students tested positive Sunday.
Pfizer-BioNtech; I believe it's the only kind we have in NZ.

I'm very lucky to have been one of the first to be vaccinated in my country ; it's because of where I work I was given the opportunity within a two day margin.

At 11 may this is how many have been vaccinated in my country:
First dose administered 268787
Second dose administered 120090
Total doses administered 388877
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

I have an appointment at last for my 2nd vaccination. :) Wednesday morning next week, just 1 day short of 12 weeks since the first jab.
The wait between 1st and 2nd jabs is going to be reduced to 8 weeks due to the Indian variant causing increased cases in some parts of the UK.

Personally, no, I do not wish to take the vaccine yet. My husband already received the vaccine as he is an essential worker, but I am afraid to take it. I have seen a number of people I know die after getting vaccinated so that gets me a little scared. I rather wait a little longer to see if things change and if they do, then I would not mind receiving the dose. Eventually, we will all have to be vaccinated one way or another.

For now, I will keep protecting myself and those around me. Luckily, I still have not been infected by COVID-19 yet and I do not want to! :P
