This is a link to the prison he's residing in and explains what restrictions he may encounter. It also includes pictures of the type of cell he'll be housed in.

His sentencing will be on June 16.

Did he say he was going to appeal or was this just a automatic assumption based on what has happened and who he is?

I've never heard of people not appealing their sentences, simply because they have nothing to lose by doing so and it's their right, however his chances of success are slim due to being convicted of murder requires the entire jury to vote guilty

what evidence? idk who your reply is for, sorry xD

The message is meant for me, but as I said, I can't explain it here.

I've not seen any footage other than that which has been shown on mainstream sources, nor heard of any alternative versions, so really can't comment any further on what you are saying

I never said the videos I posted would have vindicated him.
It was merely videos showing smartasses on here wrong, such as the smartass who said something about them not using handcuffs, I merely posted a video showing him being handcuffed.
I apologise if my message was too vague, I just don't want to have all my posts removed again because the mods don't like what they see.

Even after Chauvin was told Floyd was dead, he continued to kneel on his neck. To me, reading between the lines, the Cop wanted to make sure he was dead. I still think this was a racist move. I hate to bring racism into it, but racism is alive and well in the US, though not as prevalent, and some Cops are racist. Would this have happened if Floyd was Caucasian? I wonder.

They even laughed afterward and walked free.

yes, there are plenty of Caucasians that have died while confronted by the police.
google Daniel Shaver and watch the video for yourself. he was crawling on the ground pleading for his life then shot with an AR-15, the police officer who murdered him was found
not guilty. this shitty issue is not only happening to one particular demographic, there is no justice for Daniel Shaver

Hopefully, this will be a turning point in society. Although there is definitely a race component in several of these cases, it will benefit and protect everyone to get these murderers behind bars.

There is, clearly, a racial component to what happened.

However, there is also the issue of police forces that have authority without effectively being required to take responsibility , which leads to a feeling of impunity, which leads to abuse of power.

In the US perhaps. They could do with an independent policing body and a country wide training programme, entry requirements and checks. I think it's abundantly clear the US police needs an overhaul as the small minority ruin it for the large majority that do a decent job. Certainly no where I'd like to work. those guys have *enter your particular gender* of steel

I saw someone the other day pointing out that in the UK, training a police officer takes a couple of years, while in the US it's done in a matter of weeks. Perhaps that's part of the problem.

See this page for the UK system of joining the police, which basically involves getting the equivalent of a degree in policing:
