Yeah good signing that, Costa, smashed it with Wolves when they were down here, keeping Phillips will also be big for you, if you do.

The villa social media pages are being invaded by Egyptians all saying hes the best African player (Trezeguet), some a bit more realistic saying hes 2nd behind Salah. hes certainly loved by them though
Shaw, Williams, prepared to venture down the left. There’s a good ball in for Tony Morley. Oh, it must be... It is... Peter Withe !

15M for Douglas Luiz seems like ok business if he's able to get that work permit now after transferring to Villa. Man city supposedly have a buy back clause - hope Villa made it a sizeable fee.

If Man City feel the need to buy him back it'll mean he's done a good job for us.... buy back clause is 30m.

Bit of an annoying transfer but hey ho, if he helps keep us up then great.

Carried on our good pre-season picking Charlton apart 4-1, most satisfying part of our pre season is the football we are playing, the passing, the movement, the balls getting played behind the opponents defences are stuff I've never seen us play, to think this time last year we were facing liquidation and had Bruce as manager

Well, our pre season concluded with a nice 3-1 away win at Red Bull Leipzig yday.

Its been a great pre-season some stunning football and then topped off by our new signing (Heaton) making some great saves yday, 1 absolute world class save.

Played 5, Won 5.

The real test starts next Saturday away at Spurs, more than likely bringing us right back down too earth but you just never know in football....The greatest sport in the world for a reason.

Seriously can't wait for next weekend

Expensive! but I guess the going rate these days, be worth it if he fits in and United get a proper manager in ;)

Bournemouth then quote Leicester 75m for Ake … amazing

Biggest shock of the window appears to be on the last day, 40m for Iwobi ?! madness ! Desperate panic buy after not getting Zaha?

Liverpool and Man utd the premier league teams with the lowest amount of players brought in this window at 3 each. Quite a lot of shopping done by the rest of the league.

No clue why Huddersfield has decided to send one of their standout players in Mooy on loan to Brighton?

Iwobi to rotate with Walcott for their former-arsenal-winger spot? They sold Lookman to RB Leipzig after all and "only" have Bernard and Richarlison competing for either wing spot, or perhaps Calvert-lewin too if Moise Kean is intended for the striker role.
