I know Chelsea have key players injured, but their tactic set them up to be countered today and they had no answers to that. Perhaps with Kante starting it would be different, but Lampard knew he's just returning from injury and should've adjusted his tactic as his players became increasinly tired and couldn't play with the same intensity as in the first 20 minutes.

Their left back being the most threatening player in place of Hazard also didn't particularly help, with their 18 shots (7 on target) amounting to a massive 0.9 expected goals.

I thought Chelsea dominated for the first half hour, and even as a United supporter I'll admit they had some bad luck.

4-0 put a big smile on my face and I really enjoyed seeing the "new boys" performing well.

Pogba is still a frustrating player, he has moments of genuine brilliance... but then he'll give the ball away and fall over.

Thought we gave a good account of ourselves, realistically we were never going to win there but we gave them a good scare, Mings and Engels looked absolute class at the back, Heaton made some great saves while even Neil Taylor had a top game.

Although Spurs dominated throughout we looked the more likely to score 1st half, could of even had 3....2nd half all Spurs though, we defended well, they bought Eriksen on and completely changed the game, Spurs in the end deserved there win

Hopefully get too see the attacking side of our game against Bournemouth this weekend
Shaw, Williams, prepared to venture down the left. There’s a good ball in for Tony Morley. Oh, it must be... It is... Peter Withe !

2 Mistakes cost us early on Saturday, not sure what Heaton was doing for the penalty and why Luiz let the ball go for the 2nd but after that Luiz bossed midfield and scored a screamer.

We shouldn't of lost in the end but thats football, fairplay Bournemouth.

On to Everton...friday night

Inter wanting to reunite Alexis Sanchez with Romelu Lukaku, the partnership we hardly got to experience besides in social media posts previously...

Everton has been good defensively in their two matches so far, but has only managed to score one goal. Could be a decent match with Villa looking decent in defence too, despite conceding 5.

Everton continue to be allergic to goals, Villa did well to earn their first win of the season.

Norwich - Chelsea now and looking at Chelsea's lineup plus their manager with 1 year experience I can't see why some people talk about them as greater contenders for top spots this season than man united, leicester, wolves etc.

Poor performance by United yesterday apart from the first thirty minutes.

I'll give Palace their due, they played well.

Alarming that the VAR never seem to overrule referees despite clear mistakes so far in the premier league. Suppose they're still new to it due to their insistence on waiting a year longer to implement it than other european leagues who had it last year as well.

I was furious that they didn't VAR that blatant foul.

The rules need an overhaul, it seems like it's perfectly ok to hold onto someone, grab at them, wrestle them... but an accidental clip to the ankle gets penalised.
