I think someone kidnapped Pogba and replaced him with his much better identical twin.

Not sure about that celebration dance though...

Qatar World Cup was already a farcical affair, but it got worse for those willing to endorse such tripe.

" World Cup 2022 host Qatar has just introduced 100% alcohol tax. Price of all beer, wine & spirits doubled overnight. Happy New Yea r"

I don't think there was any doubt that City would beat Rotherham, but... 7-0 O_o .

Must be pretty boring to be a City supporter at the moment, too predictable!

Don't think they would of predicated losing to Palace at home and then losing from a winning position away at Leicester!

So glad they made light work of Liverpool, anyone but them dirty bin dippers!

Looks like Wolves will rob Tammy Abraham off us, still crossing everything in hope that it doesnt happen!

Not overly arsed about being out the FA Cup, don't get me wrong, great competition, would love nothing more than too win it but we ain't going to win it and a "fun little run" in the cup only makes the season longer in the end for no reason.

Id also like to take this moment to complain about transfer prices!

I know there already ridiculous but these 3 for example

Solanke to Bournemouth for 19m ?!

Hudson-Odoi ( was getting linked to move on loan to Villa/Derby ) now Bayern have offered 30m with Chelsea wanting 40m! hes not even close to being an established Chelsea squad player let alone starting 11

and now Diaz too Real has been confirmed, 22m ?! for a youngster, barely played 1st team football and on top that, OUT OF CONTRACT IN 6 MONTHS

Edit: BTW, I don't doubt the potential of Hudson-Odoi and Diaz but for that price, potential? really?

English players always have inflated prices, and with the way transfer fees have gone over the last couple of years, it is only going to get worse.

Sadly it's one of the reasons I get put off football a lot these days.
The only good thing about it, is that it means that more and more teams are going to have to rely on their academies and youth players.

Players like Dominic Solanke aren't worth their price tag, they aren't even worth a tenth of it. Yet here we are.

Its not always just English players though, its easy too look at it like that as thats where were from so only really hear of it here (assuming you are) not to forget Diaz is actually Spanish

Sancho left at around the same point in his career and was "only" around about 9m? if I remember correctly, problem is, all these clubs think there all going to sign the next Sancho and them prices are ridiculous

I agree though, the amount of money does make football off putting, as well as the lack of respect TV companies have for fans travelling home and away for there clubs, its all to commercialised in the Premiership and as much I do want to see Villa go back up, wether this season or not, I do also really enjoy the Championship as it is alot more real

Yeah, it's not just English players. However, English teams do seem to pay a premium for English players.

It doesn't help that English players are reluctant to leave their own leagues. Which I hope is going to change more in the future.
