Players actively making forward runs giving Matic decent passing options instead of forcing him to looks sideways or back to centre backs made look him less out of his depth, who would've known!

And this one guy who's been sitting on the bench the past weeks got to start a game and were involved in 4 out of 5 goals. No way Jose.

Townsend's goal for Crystal Palace earlier was great too.

Yesterday certainly threw up some surprise results, unhappy ones for some but I'm one very happy Manchester United supporter.

I know it was "only Cardiff" but United's attitude and approach to the game was a joy to see.
Everyone seemed really positive, the atmosphere was fantastic.

Let's hope this result is a sign of things to come.
Mourinho should be hanging his head in shame.

They were finally given the freedom to perform... plus the atmosphere under Mou must have been depressing.

Yes they're payed a fortune to play and should give their all every week, but they still needed a manager who would give the team the shape and direction they needed.

A manager who didn't shy away from publicly criticising his players wasn't exactly helping morale.

Villa versus Leeds was great. Such a poor clearance by Elmohamady at the end.

Another absolute howler by Pickford in the Everton game. He's been very poor this season.

Yes, they've got two matches before that though: against Newcastle tomorrow and against Reading in the FA cup. Latter one hopefully sees some of the youngsters like Chong or Greenwood get some play time, but both are games you'd expect Man utd to win.
